Disseminating Moon Phase

At 2:00 pm EST today. the Black Moon will move from Aries into Taurus while at the same time conjuncting Jupiter. The Black Moon will remain in Taurus until September 2012. The Black Moon brings up fears in order for them to be purged. The Black Moon in Taurus relates specifically to fears about scarcity of resources and money and a lack of safety and security.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, so the combination with the Black Moon delves deep to reveal insecurities within relationships and personal insecurities related to appearance and beauty. The added element of Jupiter will expand this to great proportions. If you are a Taurus, the Black Moon will conjunct your Sun sometime between now and September, depending on how early or late in the sign you were born (if you find yourself having a difficult time, feel free to contact me to schedule a reading). However, this energy will also affect the human collective at large, and will cause chaos for the already precarious global financial situation.

The Black Moon in Taurus is going to intensify any fears you are having about money and your sense of safety in the world. Since today is the day it enters Taurus, these themes may present themselves in a dramatic way.

During all of this, we will need to remember that life on this planet is transient. In the spiritual sense, the details rarely matter. What matters is how kind of a person we are, not how wealthy or safe we are. We are wealthy and safe in spirit. If you feel like you can’t get a good handle on things today, stop trying. Today is not a day where we feel in control. Turn things over to a Higher Power and focus on something that brings you joy.
