Onplanetliz ~ Power Versus Revolution

Onplanetliz’s Blog April 17 2013

Uranus vs Pluto ~Liz D’Aste

‘Power gained is power maintained’ is a saying that came to my mind as we move into the second phase of the Pluto/Uranus square. For those of you not familiar with astrological technique, this means that the planet Uranus and the ‘dwarf’ planet Pluto are making a hard 90 degree angle to each other from the perspective of the ecliptic (the path the earth takes around the sun).

As some of you may remember from a previous post of mine  – a similar aspect between these 2 planets occurred back in the 1930′s during the rise of the Third Reich. A square between outer planets can take years to complete due to their retrograde motion and slow progression through the signs.  This particular one started last year, near exactitude during the Olympics and Jubilee in the UK and will square exactly 6 times ending in March 2016.

Now the second square is upon us which came into orb (meaning close enough to have an affect) April 13, will be exact in May and then wane in June 2013. This will mark the beginning of  power versus revolution – phase 2. Phase 3 begins September 13 and finishes in December.

Whomever may have decided to hitch their wagon to this square in order to enhance their power is just getting started. That disturbing Olympic ceremony sounded the ‘Do’ and now we have the next note.

Alex Miller ~ March Madness, Celestial Style

Daykeeper Journal March 2013

March of 2013 witnesses a very rare alignment of celestial heavy-hitters, namely an Isosceles Trapezoid. This highly symmetrical pattern keys off the ongoing Uranus/Pluto square, the defining aspect of our times, although the next point at which these two will be exactly squared is not until May. Filling out the pattern are sextile aspects from each end of the square, joined by inconjunct, with two additional inconjuncts forming an internal “X” from the four corners of the trapezoid.

Essentially, this pattern is composed of two interlocked Yods, bound together by a stressful square. Yods, also known as the Finger of Destiny, are formed when two planets in sextile along the base of the Yod are each inconjunct to a third planet at its apex. Yods represent fated or predestined events, situations which cannot be avoided, for good or ill, and reap karmic benefit or punishment.

The planets in question are Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn. Often when a trapezoid forms in the sky, a key component is one of the more swiftly-moving inner planets, indicating a fleeting or transient nature, but here, moderate to major slow movers are involved, giving the pattern much more stability and durability than would normally be the case. The first of the six exact aspects that bind and create this pattern occurs February 13, and the last on May 20, but March and early April are dominated by the trapezoid, with four exact alignments within a five-week period, and all planets are within orb of their relative aspects throughout the period.

Several other planets and minor bodies of the solar system will conjoin the principals in this complex pattern, but to begin at the beginning, let’s discuss the various primary energies interwoven into the trapezoid’s structure.

The Uranus/Pluto square forms the backbone of the pattern, and is the longest-lived portion of it, being in effect for almost three years, from June 2012 through March 2015 (for a detailed look at 2013’s exact squares, see my article “Galactic 2013, Part One” in the December 2012 issue of Daykeeper Journal). Essentially, this is a conflict of action (first-quarter square) between the forces of change, challenge and innovation (Uranus), coming from a rebellious, iconoclastic stance bent on individuation (Aries), and those of entrenched power structures (Pluto) coming from a hierarchical, traditionalist stance bent on conformity (Capricorn).

This is never good. That is, it can lead to something very good indeed, but the process is often ugly. Tension, strife, open conflict and turmoil: these are the likely results of this combination. This mix represents the individual versus society, free-form versus structure.

Carl Boudreau ~ The Astrology Of February 2013 (And A Little Beyond) [Video]

Carl Boudreau | January 22 2013

We have crossed many thresholds and experienced many transitions, but we are still waiting for the moment when we shed the past and enter the future we have been planning. That moment is in February. We will finally begin cutting our ties to the past, and pushing through whatever barriers remain. February offers confidence and determination, a willingness to overcome resistance, even resistance in high places. But February also promises to help us maneuver obstacles and negotiate our way around barriers.

The future promises a continuing emphasis on personal transformation, often in the face of resistance. On another level, the power of governments and other large institutions will be scrutinized and their power limited. Power will continue to flow to main street and the grassroots.

A more polished, written version of this analysis will be available on my blog on or about the first of February. http://bit.ly/VgitZL

Oracle Report | First Quarter Moon Phase – Moon in Taurus

Ruling Mahavidya: Matangi

The Sun has moved out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, without the raging sunspot delivering a solar flare. All of the energy was contained by the Sun. It’s rare for that level of energy not to be dispersed. But Matangi is very, very good at calming volatile situations. She cleans things up and to do that, new chaos cannot enter. She draws the line.

This solar energy wasn’t released in a massive ejection, but the electro-magnetic fields do affect us to some degree because the Sun sustains our lives. Internal activity on the Sun means internal activity for us. Matangi is much more “at home” when the Sun moves into Aquarius. Like Aquarius, Matangi lets her freak-flag fly. She is a protector of those of the margins of society. She takes great pleasure in expressions that are out of the ordinary. All of the Mahavidyas rail against controls, but Matangi will take the fight to the end. She does not give up.

There is strong energy in place on Saturday that prompts an “I told you so” attitude and the need to be right or convert someone to certain beliefs. This doesn’t help anything. Matangi allows for equality and inclusion of all. She is exceptionally non-judgmental. So, situations where there is an imbalance of power will not work out well right now, especially on Saturday.

Sunday’s energy carries an undertone of disappointment, failure, or hopelessness. This may take us by surprise. But we must break through these illusions. Matangi is about breaking points. She says enough when things have gone far enough. We want to look at situations and see what possibilities remain. What can we work with? What can come from this? What can be cleared away? What can be fixed?

Henry Seltzer ~ The Imminent Breakthrough Of The First Quarter Moon

Astrograph | January 18 2013

Friday’s First Quarter Moon is an interesting one in that, as the moment comes of greatest tension in their square aspect, the Sun and Moon occupy the very last degree of their respective signs, for the Sun, Capricorn, and for the Moon, Aries. The Sun is thus about to break into the next Zodiacal sign of Aquarius - as in the age of; namely what we are all living through as this climactic decade unwinds.

In this quarter Moon configuration there are also, as has been the case so often recently, outer planet configurations to contend with. Jupiter is in perfect square with Chiron, which promises to allow interesting and necessarily painful situations to emerge from this moment of minor crisis in the lunation cycle. And this sense of crisis is proportional to the sense of pressure conveyed by the preceding New Moon, which was very strong, emphasizing Saturn and Uranus as well as ChironJupiter still closely squares Chiron through Jupiter‘s station to direct motion on January 30th, and stays within 2 degrees to the end of March.

Henry Seltzer ~ The Shaky Courage Of The Capricorn New Moon

Astrograph | January 10 2013

The New Moon that comes along mid-day on Friday provides a generous helping of get-up-and-go for forging ahead with our lives at this turning point of the new year, and also brings up both past and future considerations. The Roman God Janus – for which the present month is named – presided over transitions and openings, and had two faces, one looking forward with anticipation; and one, representing a more conservative mode, looking backward. This emblem describes the energy of this New Moon very well. We are now over these next few months entering into the era of Saturn-Uranus-Pluto, a subset of the Uranus-Pluto square aspect that characterizes the entire year of 2013 and several more beyond it. This is a time when it must be recognized that the urge to move forward will be balanced by the equally strong urge to pull back from change.

Oracle Report | Balsamic Moon Phase – Moon in Capricorn

Today silence is being broken and things are coming to light. If you listened to my New Year’s audio (posted in the Audio tab), you heard me mention the deafening silence regarding Comet ISON (c/2012 S1). Today NOAA and NASA report on spaceweather.com that the comet could put on an unforgettable display this fall. Also in that audio commentary, I discussed the Mahavidyas, Divine Emissaries of Sophia (and by the way, most of what you can read on the internet about them is distorted). The Mahavidyas have broken their silence, so to speak, and have a project for anyone who is interested.

I will be recording a new audio report with Oracle Report Facebook administrator Andrew later today to detail it. I am quite excited about it.

Oracle Report | Balsamic Moon Phase – Moon in Sagittarius

Venus has moved into Capricorn, joining Pluto, Mercury, and the Sun, and adding more energy to themes of power and control that are associated with Capricorn. But the main aspect that will intensify control issues today is the Sun making a square to Eris, which stationed direct yesterday. Eris is refreshed. The Eris energy abhors anything related to control, so we have strong conflicting energies at work. It’s a push-pull, tug-of-war kind of day. So, knowing that is the set-up, we can avoid becoming entangled in situations where this arises. However, it will be enlightening to watch where this plays out. It may play out closer to home – with the war being an internal one. If you find yourself wrestling with any personal demons (your shadow side), take heart because this is happening at a prime time to do something about it.

Dorene Carrel ~ Astrology Report for January 2013

Astro Connections Blog | December 1 2012

January is highlighted by a strong communication theme, as both lunations align with Mercury. Several planets in Capricorn bring needed structure and grounding to our goals and projects. Therefore it is a good month for making new resolutions. Later in the month there is forward momentum and a renewed sense of expansion when Jupiter aspects the Sun and turns stationary direct.

We begin the month still under the December New Moon in Sagittarius, with the themes of optimism, freedom and truth-seeking. Uranus turned direct on this same day, giving us more confidence to pursue our ideals, but has also led to more unexpected changes, events and erratic weather.

The month begins on an expansive note with a grand air trine on January 4, between the Moon, Mars and Jupiter. There is a feeling of confidence and buoyancy, so it is a good day to initiate social events or other projects involving communication. As Mercury also squares Uranus at this time, we may receive flashes of intuition. However, beware of verbal blunders and accidents due to overextending oneself. Mercury aligns with both Pluto and Saturn on January 6, which brings depth and stability to our thinking and actions.

On January 7, Mars in Aquarius forms a challenging square to Saturn in Scorpio. This aspect can result in delays or other frustrating circumstances. This energy can be described as trying to drive (Mars) with the brakes on (Saturn). It is best to avoid important new beginnings over the next few days.

Onplanetliz’s Blog ~ Good Bye Age of Pisces…

Onplanetliz’s Blog | December 29 2012

msoD06D9I haven’t posted in a while. I think that I have been in the process of digesting a hell of a lot of information as I am sure many of you can also relate. Sometimes you have to just stop and chew and chew and swallow and digest all that food for thought!

AND so much of the information is contradictory as if we are reliving some kind of modern day ‘tower of Babel’ scenario where no one is actually understanding what anyone else is saying. This is certainly a good example of the transformational energy of Pluto presently acting through Earthy Capricorn.

The reality tunnel we have been living in just finished transforming in 2012 – now it is just a matter for us to recognize the change. Believe it or not, the majority of people will not – in the same way that they don’t notice the transformation that occurs on a daily basis between waking and sleeping. They glide seamlessly from one dream to another, believing that each dream is the one that has always been.

This is neither bad nor good – it is just in the nature of things. Few want to wake up – waking up is very difficult and extremely uncomfortable for a time.

I bring this up because Reality Tunnels are the province of the old Sea Goat – Capricornus. Capricorn is the sign that begins at the winter solstice. It is the CAP of the CORN – the John Barleycorn that must die and be reborn as the SUN does every December in the Northern Hemisphere. It takes 3 days of darkness or at appearing to stand still at its lowest point for the Sun to then show a definite sign of rising in the skies again (hence xmas on the 25th, 3 full days after the solstice).

I am sure anyone doing research would have come across this ’3 days of darkness’ scenario. Of course it is when the gates of hell open because the sun (light) is hardly there during the longest nights of the year. And please remember for all those who, like myself, were conditioned to be terrified of ‘HELL’ – hell is just unconscious, unprocessed, ignorant energy that has been locked up. The cure for anything in hell that has become ‘evil’ (living dead – LIVE backwards) is the light of consciousness.

And yes, hell is unpleasant but the more we resist it the more we give it energy. And we all do this because we just do not want to go through the highly distasteful process of bringing this emotional manure up to the surface and trans – forming it. And in case you are wondering why it has to be so unpleasant, well, you try spending all that time in the darkness being resisted and rejected and not come out howling with all your ignorance and pain. That locked up stuff is living energy – IT IS PART OF US!

msoEFE6BCapricorn is the sign that represents the combination of EARTH with ACTION. The planet Saturn which represents our intellect is the planet that ‘rules’ Capricorn. This means that we express Capricorn best through our intellectual capacity. Hence, the Sea Goat is the sign of organization, planning, ambition and response – ability. But it is with Saturn that we create a material experience. It is with Saturn that we measure what is real and not real – to us. And most importantly because Saturn works on an earthy level, the actions appear to have real solid consequences.

Djwhal Khul ~ Winter Solstice 2012

Terri Newlon | December 20 2012

Djwhal Khul here. Tashi delek.

This is the Winter Solstice 2012 essentially. What to expect, how to behave, what you can do in service to others.

The Solstice actually happens as the Sun moves into Capricorn at about 3:12 am on 12-21 Pacific or Los Angeles time. You can find your time elsewhere.

There will be constant prayer going around the globe and you can join in that energy. We expect a major surge or wave of that energy reaching Humanity about every half hour, on the hour and the half hour. So there will be a lot going on in the ethers.

This is a time when it flushes out evil and it tests good versus evil. Thus you’re going to see much like in Connecticut and over in Asia where children were stabbed, people succumbing to entity possessions. Probably such that they’ve been, you know, had this entity friend, so-called friend, that is truly destructive in nature.

Because of the time period, the entity can get a little more dark power and dark suggestion over the individual and so lifting up of the entities and sending them into the light is a good idea.

Oracle Report | New Moon Phase – Moon in Sagittarius/Capricorn

Fresh energy arrives today with the New Moon in Capricorn. It’s a brand new cycle – one that is going to find us streaking across the sky just like the Geminid meteor shower that is currently underway. . . . These are heavenly fireworks and we will start to make some fireworks of our own this month.

Using the traditional location of Earth, the exact conjunction of the Sun and Moon occurred today at 21 degrees 45 minutes of Sagittarius, and in astrology we “round up” to 22 Sagittarius. But something is off here. The Earth is not located where she was. You may have seen the evidence over the last few years that the poles have shifted a bit – at least 15 minutes in my estimation. This New Moon is actually at 23 Sagittarius.

The Sabian symbol for 23 Sagittarius is immigrants entering a new country. This is exactly what is happening. We are entering into a brand new world this month. Last month’s mental journey of the visioin quest activated something in us that now puts us in new territory. Energetically, it is a massive paradigm shift because the boundaries of the mind – the controls that have been in place – are coming off, leaving us not only free to express ourselves to our fullest potential but simultaneously activating co-consciousness with the planet for the collective of humanity.

John Wadsworth ~ Powerful Lunar Eclipse On Wednesday

Kairos | November 26 2012 | Thanks, Minty

This is another very significant week astrologically as we approach the full moon lunar eclipse on Wednesday, as a series of powerful conjunctions align in what we call a yod or “finger of fate” pattern. An exact conjunction of Mars and Pluto in Capricorn makes a sextile aspect to Venus and Saturn conjunct in Scorpio, both conjunctions form quincunx aspects to the Moon, which itself is in a conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini. The figure suggests that we are being stretched to integrate a new way of understanding, something that seems still just out of our grasp, and requires significant adjustment or re-alignment.

Saturn-Venus-Mercury alignment this week

With Venus, Mars and the Moon involved this is likely be experienced most acutely within relationships.  A Mars-Pluto conjunction is very tense and will bring up uncomfortable aspects of the shadow, especially in Capricorn where Mars is so strong.  Venus-Saturn are conjunct which tends to test relationships, and sexual dynamics may be charged with shadow energy and need to be channelled mindfully, so as not to be destructive, particularly as the conjunction occurs in the sign of Scorpio, the sign that Mars and Pluto rule.  This creates what we call a “reception” between the planets involved in this aspect and intensifies the contact.  The eclipse itself, a partial one, occurs in the Hyades cluster of stars around the face of Taurus the bull, a particularly sensitive placement which could represent the possibility of catharsis.  The Mars-Pluto conjunction is with the star cluster Facies, in the ruthless stare of the Sagittarian archer, so it is not a time when any form of compromise comes easy!
