Barbara Hand Clow ~ Getting Smart About Your Choices: Third Uranus/Pluto Square—May 20, 2013.

HandClow May 22 2012

During the first two Uranus/Pluto squares many people woke up, actually intensely feeling their real connections to others. This is the awakening of the human heart. Of course, with so many people lighting up, chaos is rampant in the world. Sometimes I wonder if we are right in the middle of the Second Coming! One by one, people sense that the fabled return is not Jesus coming again: the Second Coming is about awakening love in our hearts. I actually think this is what’s going on. No wonder everything is so intense.

Pluto turned retrograde April 12th, so the third square is quickly closing in now. At this point, many people realize that our species is in extreme crisis. If we want to survive, we have to balance human needs with planetary resources, only the very first step back into balance. Also, each person must remember what it feels like to be a sensitive and happy human. This is feasible because so many are integrating the negative side—befriending the dark. This involves seeing things that have always gone on in our world instead of just being nice. Some are responding very courageously to this polarity expansion, while others drop out because they just don’t want to see ugly side of life. I understand; I take a total break from it at least once a week.

The covers for evil acts—such as rampant sexual abuse of children, governments orchestrating mass trauma events like 9/11, and bankers fleecing the public—have been stripped off! The only difference between now and the past is that a majority knows what’s going on, for example publicizing that women get raped in India. They always have been! The condition of our sacred world is depressing, overwhelming, and sometimes seems hopeless, but it is changing. When enough people face cold hard reality, it changes. And, this is it!

If you will recall my reading for the previous Uranus/Pluto square on September 19, 2012, I suggested that we all need to make some very clear intentions because our reality—3D—is governed by quantum principles, such as Entanglement. We are all tangled up together amidst

constantly changing probable outcomes, so the changes in the collective are horrendous, yet magnificent! Since everybody has free will, some choose to kill people, such as little children in a New England school or shooting Malala Yusafzai on a bus in Pakistan. Meanwhile, the majority is now realizing the murderers are those who get power and profit from weapons. Soon after the second Saturn/Pluto square, violent acts against Western powers that occupy far distant countries became a dominant theme. The Libyan US Ambassador was murdered in the Benghazi Embassy; Afghan and Pakistani soldiers and policeman ambushed their American trainers; and a second Korean war may be in the making. As we come to the end zone of the second square, North Korea is screaming at the US over its 60-year occupation of South Korea. If this does not happen, then the US will end its expensive commitment to South Korea. Regardless of all that, many beautiful intentions were carried out by each one of you. In the quantum, the dark shares equally with the light so with so many people opening their hearts, ugly truths seep out like sewage in the basement.

Oracle Report | Gibbous Moon Phase – Moon in Taurus/Gemini

Since I described today’s energy yesterday in preparation, there isn’t much more that I can say. I have re-posted the breakdown below. If things get to be too intense for you, the best thing to do is go outside and reinforce your connection with Gaia. It may help to remember that in the midst of all of this, our frequencies are being raised.

  • The Sun will oppose the Black Moon and Jupiter: Our shadow sides will be tempted to engage. This is one of the ways darker forces are trying to trick us out of our journey with Sophia. You’ll know this is happening if you start to doubt yourself or feel down on yourself or feel like giving up on something. Knowing that the tendency is for our buttons to be pushed, we can opt out of that. The themes will be rejection/acceptance/approval. This energy will be strongest for those with the Black Moon in Gemini (see appendix of my book on the Black Moon on the Books tab if you don’t know which sign your natal Black Moon is located in – the book is free) since the Black Moon is conjunct Jupiter in Gemini right now.

Oracle Report | Balsamic Moon Phase – Moon in Leo

Today our minds are concerned with bigger questions. Even simple issues will be seen against the background of something greater. Patterns are becoming more visible, especially patterns where we have acted in accordance to what we think we deserve. This is happening to change our perspective. What is best for you? This is what we are confronted with today. There is a big answer to this and it speaks to the core of who we are. This relates directly to the Black Moon entering Gemini. It doesn’t matter if your Black Moon is in Gemini or not. This is being experienced at the collective level by everyone to some degree. From my book:

Oracle Report | Third Quarter Moon Phase – Moon in Cancer/Leo

As mentioned yesterday, today’s energy is extremely intense. Because it is September 11th, the day is already imprinted with emotions of the past, but the Black Moon moving into Gemini, Mercury and the Sun conjunct, and something impacting Jupiter bring perpetual motion and restlessness today. Anything goes and anything can happen today and it will come from out of the blue.

There is a pervasive and underlying feeling of needing to move on to new ways of thinking and doing things. New ventures undertaken today have a great deal of power to them because the momentum that is in today’s energy will “mark” and sustain them indefinitely. This gives you an idea of the scope of what we are working with. It’s like a rip current. So when there’s a rip current, you swim parallel to and with the current – not against it. The tendency is to fight energy like this because the restlessness of it makes sensitive people very uncomfortable. It “damages our calm” so to speak. Usually we stand outside the energy and witness, but today we are going to immerse ourselves in it and swim with its direction. Resistance to anything that is happening will only create problems. Tomorrow, after this energy moves on, I will discuss what the Black Moon moving into Gemini means.

Oracle Report | Disseminating Moon Phase – Moon in Aries/Taurus

Today’s picture is from the auroras over the Yukon produced by the CME that is in effect. Photo by J. Tucker from spaceweather.com.

Wise owls are called upon today to bring balance and equilibrium to situations. Things get out of control today and those who are able to keep their wits by understanding that we are in the last years of the Kali Yuga- the time of balance and enlightmentment – will be able to keep things on track today. So you have a mission. Nothing special is required other than being yourself and using your energy to sway things when they turn negative. Most likely it will be important to bridge the gap or go against the status quo to bring in new and innovative elements.

Wise owls are nothing if not charming, and this is what saves the day today. The Black Moon is in the last degree of Taurus. It will move into Gemini on the night of September 11th. Until then, fears about safety and security are dominant. The Black Moon is traveling alongside the South Node right now, meaning it is bringing up things from the past (past lives even). Situations that are happening now are hold-overs from the distant past that are trying to come to resolution. It is important not to force things with this energy. It needs to resolve itself without impetus from us.

Eric Francis ~ Cancer New Moon; Accessing Deep Feelings

Planet Waves | July 19 2012

Early this morning (12:24 am EDT) we experienced the annual Cancer New Moon. Happening late in the Sun’s run through Cancer, the New Moon picked up the signal of a diversity of planets associated with deep psychological, emotional and erotic healing.

Simplified chart section showing the moment of today’s New Moon in Cancer (the symbols that look like a Sun and Moon, with the same numbers next to them). Also shown is Venus in mid-Gemini, which is square Borasisi in Pisces (not shown).

New Moons represent a new cycle, and if you’re involved in a self-awareness or growth endeavor that fits this basic description, the next few days provide a space to go deeper into self-understanding. The message of this event seems to be: emotional healing arrives with self-forgiveness, as well as the personal choice to alter a negative cycle. When you heal, you also take yourself out of the “pass it forward” game that so often attends matters of abuse, and start spreading the positive vibes of self-acceptance.

There’s also the question of alienation, described by this New Moon’s proximity to a distant planet orbiting our Sun called Eris (named in 2006). This morning’s Sun-Moon conjunction was just a few degrees past an exact square to Eris, meaning that both the Sun and Moon recently made contact and carried some of its energy along to their own meeting. Eris is that part of us who yearns for connection she cannot find. She’s like a castaway part of ourselves who feels like she has no place in the world — an emotional condition that can come from many different worldly causes. In truth that alienation is from ourselves.

Robert Wilkinson ~ Astrology In July 2012 – The Grand Irrationality In Motion Triggering The 2011 Gemini Solar Eclipse

Aquarius Papers | July 13 2012 | Thanks, Minty

Also see “21st Century Astrology – What is the Grand Irrationality and Why Is Everything So Strange?

Yesterday through Sunday Venus is triggering the Grand Irrationality. It is biseptile Neptune and triseptile Pluto, showing we’re all at a fork in the road wherever we have Taurus, Gemini, Libra, Capricorn, and Pisces in our charts. It also gives us “Venusian hints” about late July through late August, a time that will bring us karmic comebacks, closures, and openings related to last Summer’s Solar Eclipse in Gemini.

I’ll be posting an update on the Grand Irrationality in the near future, since some new fans of the site may not be familiar with this pandemic global phenomenon in play for the past 17 years. Expect this time to bring important shifts, choices, and changes that will alter the course of destiny wherever Venus, Neptune, and Pluto are in your chart. The configuration is anchored by Neptune in Pisces septile Pluto in Capricorn, and is set into motion every time a planet makes a septile, biseptile, or triseptile to either of these outermost transpersonal planets.

Right now the hot zones are approximately 7-11 Capricorn, 29 Aquarius-3 Pisces, 20-24 Aries, 12-16 Gemini, 3-7 Leo, 25-29 Virgo, and 16-20 Scorpio. If you have a planet or sensitive point in any of these zones, you’re going through some important decisions and changes that will affect your future in powerful ways.

Robert Wilkinson ~ The Full Moon Of Cancer-Capricorn 2012 (Pt. 1) – Time For Self-Transcendence!

Aquarius Papers | July 2012 | Thanks, Constance

This Full Moon at 13 Cancer-Capricorn is expansive, initiating, challenging, but not very conflicted. It will help us synthesize recent decisions and group involvements toward self-transcendence, and while some things will melt down, we can still achieve a lot through taking careful aim and having confidence in our training and ability to hit the target.

Today’s article will cover rising signs around the globe, an overview of the Lunation, and the Sabian Symbols. Part 2 will cover the aspects, configurations and patterns, and which signs are most likely to be affected by where this falls in their charts.

A brief overview: the period ruled by this Full Moon will illuminate our feelings, sensitivities, and needs while showing us the way to strength of character and flexibility. This will lead us to transcend old ways, and open many to symbolic deaths that will be the gate to a living the spiritual archetypes we first encountered in 2010. This is a heavy launch point for new ways to ground our ideals in practical forms that allow us to take the initiative in whatever group work we want to do.

The primary focus is on self-transcendence as we greet the dawning of a new day, even if others don’t see it yet. We can find peace and poise in the indestructible elements of our Being, gain higher responsibilities based in our dedication, healing a call, and quickening our pace. Concentration is the key to taking control of processes and keeping the initiative in our own hands. Things will be really combustible, but very creative and productive in some fairly inspired ways!

Today’s article will cover rising signs around the world, an overview of the Lunation, and the Sabian Symbols. Part 2 will cover the aspects, configurations and patterns, and which signs are most likely to be affected by where this falls in their charts. This grounding and self-gathering activating Full Moon, helping us mobilize to take care of our needs and get outside ourselves by claiming a greater personal power and initiative, occurs July 3 at 11:52 am PDT, 2:52 pm EDT, and 7:52 pm Greenwich (July 4 in India and points east.)

Now on to the rising signs around the world. The Lunation finds 28 Virgo rising in Santa Monica, 25 Virgo rising in Vancouver, 2 Scorpio in Montreal, 1 Scorpio in Washington DC, 24 Sagittarius in Rio, 27 Sagittarius in Lisbon, 23 Sagittarius in London, 27 Sagittarius in Amsterdam, 4 Capricorn in Berlin, 3 Capricorn in Tallinn, 26 Capricorn in Sofia, 15 Aquarius in Cairo, and 28 Aquarius in Johannesburg.

Moving into Asia and Oceana, we find the Ascendants to be 13 Aries in Abbottabad, 18 Aries in New Delhi, 15 Aries in Trivandrum, 13 Taurus in Bangkok, 1 Gemini in Hong Kong, 3 Cancer in Tokyo, 14 Taurus in Perth, 5 Gemini in Melbourne, 17 Gemini in Brisbane, 28 Gemini in Wellington, and 22 Leo rising on Maui.

Henry Seltzer ~ A Dynamic July Of Epiphany And Turn-Around

Astrographs | July 2 2012

The Astrology of July features Mercury, Venus, Mars, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The primary story line continues to be that of revolutionary activity in pursuit of meaningful change, as symbolized by Uranus in square to Pluto, now slightly fading but still quite active and highlighted by the lunations of the summer months. Venus has just turned to direct motion in aspect to these powerhouse outer planets, emphasizing still further their dynamic alignment that will last through the remainder of this decade. Our desire for connection thus has its dark side now, and epiphanies equally abound. Meanwhile, Mars is about to enter the Venus-ruled sign of Libra on July 3rd – coincident and T-square to a Capricorn Full Moon conjunct Pluto – there to trine the May 20th eclipse degree and also to make an imaginative and yet problematic quincunx to flighty Neptune. The emphasis on Mars with Neptune takes us away from our mundane selves and out of this world into a shape-shifting multiplicity of points of view, and yet paradoxically has the power to bring us back into the world as more fully realized beings.

Radical transformation is thus once more in the offing as this intense summer begins. And this brings up one of the great gifts of Astrology. Without its benefit one might assume that the worst is over, but this turns out to be far from the case. We know from the repetition and the severity of these transiting positions that things will tend to get worse over the next few years before they begin to get better. We will continue to be amazed by the unending revelations that spur us on to necessary changes, both in our individual lives and in the life of the collective that surrounds us. As Pluto conspires and interacts with the social innovation symbolized by Uranus all hell breaks loose – literally. This is because in order to create a new foundation one first must destroy the old order. Destruction is never pretty, nor comfortable, but it might turn out to be entirely necessary.

Henry Seltzer ~ June 19th New Moon

Astrographs | June 18 2012

The New Moon that comes along on Tuesday, June 19th, is an interesting one, being the second New Moon in the curious and thoughtful sign of Gemini, the Air sign most closely connected with intellection and communication. This introduces a long series of New Moons that take place near the end rather than the beginning of their respective signs, producing a more muted and also a more spiritual feel for the particular sign involved. This placement in late Gemini, called the Aquarius decanate (the last third of the sign) is really very different than the early degrees, being concerned with the ultimate result of thought process in terms of philosophical groundbreaking and social benefit, and indicating that it is now high time to put our actual money and our concerted actions wherever our deepest thought process might take us. This New Moon happens just one day before the June 20th Summer Solstice, when the Cardinal sign of Cancer –oppositional to Pluto’s Capricorn placement – comes into its own.

Of course the big news this lunation is the Uranus-Pluto square which is now extremely close, and fully triggered by this New Moon cycle. The First Quarter Moon a week further on, taking place on the 26th, makes a T-square with Pluto, and hence also with Uranus in Aries, so that this latter configuration represents one peak this year of the energy for Uranus- Pluto and the total revolution that their powerful square brings to the table. In this New Moon configuration there is thus the incipient T-square of Sun/Moon on the edge of Cancer with Pluto and Uranus. Meanwhile, Venus, retrograde and stationing in Gemini, also closely aspects the dynamic duo of these outer planets. Mercury participates, now in Cancer and widely opposed to Pluto. The Sun/Mercury midpoint at the time of the New Moon is closely opposed to Pluto and square with Uranus, being a mere 1 1/2 degrees away from exact, and is also exactly trine Chiron in Pisces. The Chiron factor is important, bringing as it does an increased awareness of the painful places inside ourselves; our pain in the face of difficult transformation and loss. In the end it allows us to dwell more deeply on the metamorphosis that is underway, regarding both its individual and its collective aspects, and that is still accelerating. We recognize that we lose something of ourselves in the process, which is bound to be scary. This however does not mean that we lose our spiritual grounding; this is the great comfort symbolized by the prominence as well in the current skies of Jupiter and Neptune.

Oracle Report | Third Quarter Moon Phase

Overnight, two major astrological events took place: Chiron stationed retrograde and Jupiter entered Gemini. These changes are palpable within the energy today and will initially produce the potential to feel isolated, lonely, or alienated. You will probably naturally feel more introverted and quiet. Chiron will be retrograde until mid-November and is going to amp up already-present energies that will increasingly open us up to spiritual energies and, in turn, heal our individual sense of separation or lingering feelings of loneliness. To do this, the feeling of isolation is enhanced today, but not only by Chiron, but also Jupiter.

In mythological astrology, both Chiron and Jupiter are great teachers. They are joining forces now to teach us that the feeling of loneliness is an illusion and that we are never truly alone. They will teach us that nothing about ourselves – our happiness, our sense of self and self-esteem, our success – is dependent on anything in the material world. We naturally exist in the uninterrupted dreaming of the planet and when we identify ourselves or place our locus of control outside of that connection, we are astray. Feelings of loneliness, sadness, and dissatisfaction ensue.

Oracle Report | Full Moon Phase

Did you notice how those people who operate from ego, arrogance, and power issues showed out yesterday? This was their response to the energy of the Venus transit, which fully awakened Gaia to charting correction within the human collective (and within herself). You could see how the status quo is going to change. Today’s energy takes a much more mature tone than yesterday’s tempestuous energy. We are more “high minded.” We are likely to be the first to see new potentialities by taking the best of what’s been available and making it better. Tonight, Mercury will leave the sign of Gemini and the Ring of Fire energy that has dominated since the New Moon/Solar Eclipse. This is a very good thing. It is going to help clear up our minds and our thinking patterns. It will take a few days for the fog to clear entirely because Mercury will be in trine to Neptune which has been a main player in creating confusion since it stationed retrograde. The enhanced ability to connect with our feelings and then creatively manifest something real is what will replace the confusion. It is almost like we will emerge from the smoke of a fire. You’ll feel the shift today and it first may make itself known in the form of melancholy. This is a natural response. What’s really happening is an adjustment to the shift. It is somewhat like growing up.

Here’s “proof” of the connection and communication between the Earth and the Sun (Gaia/Sophia and Tzolkin) that I’ve been talking about for so long, sent by a wise owl in Arkansas, a beautiful spiritual warrior.

Earth answers the sun’s blast
