Michael Snyder ~ Is Obama Starting A War With Syria Just To Distract Us From All The Scandals?

The Economic Collapse blog June 13 2013

Well, isn’t that convenient?  At the moment when the Obama administration is feeling more heat then ever before, it starts another war.  Suddenly everyone in the mainstream media is talking all about Syria and not about the IRS scandal, Benghazi,NSA snooping or any of the other political scandals that have popped up in recent weeks.  As if on cue, Obama made headlines all over the globe on Thursday by claiming that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons against the rebels “multiple times”, and that the U.S. was now ready to do more to assist the rebels.  That assistance is reportedly going to include “military support” for the rebels and a no-fly zone over at least part of Syria is being discussed.  Without a doubt, these are acts of war, and this conflict is not going to end until Assad has been ousted.  But Assad will not go quietly.  And all it would take is for Assad to fire a couple of missiles at Tel Aviv for a huge regional war to erupt in the Middle East.  And what happens if Russia or China decides to get involved in the conflict in Syria?  Obama is playing with fire, but he has shown again and again that he is willing to do virtually anything if it will benefit him politically.

As far as the Obama administration is concerned, there is no such thing as a coincidence.  The timing of this announcement regarding Syria was not an accident.  If Obama wanted to use chemical weapons as an excuse to go after Syria he could have done it weeks ago, or he could have waited several more months before taking action.  He chose to do it right now for a reason, and hopefully the American people will be able to see right through this.

So exactly what are we going to be doing for the Syrian rebels?  Well, we will definitely be arming them and training them.  And it is probably reasonable to assume that there will be American “advisers” on the ground inside Syria helping to organize the Syrian resistance.  In fact, according to Debka, a large U.S. Marine force has already been deployed to the Jordanian border with Syria.

June 5th : Shifting….Shifting…..The Indigo Revolution and Turkey ……

In the last two years, I have been working intensively in Turkey. In fact, I have spent more time in Turkey than any other country, in what I call my “Middle East Mission”, working with Archangel Michael and the Masters of Light in this volatile and crucial region. I have travelled in Anatolia and spent time in the major cities of Istanbul and Izmir. I love Turkey, and I think I have come to know it quite well in the last two years. I am not there now, but I was two weeks ago! And, when I was there in March, I spent a week in Istanbul just exploring the city and reading up on Turkish history. I don’t claim to be an expert by any means, but I do understand the basics and, also the Spiritual aspects of the recent unrest and violence. And, when I was doing a seminar in Izmir in March, Archangel Michael did say that there would be a clash between the “Old and the New” in Turkey, that this would occur in the summer, and that it would bring fundamental change to the entire region…and ultimately the Global balance.

Yes, Turkey is what Archangel Michael calls an “Alpha Creation Point”. This means that seeds are planted in Turkey and they affect Global Civilization. After the Atlantis events, Turkey was one of the first places to nurture the new Human civilization that would emerge without any interference from extraterrestrial life forms through the Stargates. There are remains of settlements in Turkey that are estimated to date back 15,000 years before Christ. Also, because of its position between Europe and Asia, it has been the focal point of many empires including the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. Today, it is one of the most successful economies on the Planet, and Istanbul is a vibrant and busy city that straddles the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia. This is a picture of me taken last year on the Bosphorus, when I was enjoying a sunset boat ride on the busy waterway with some friends :

Many people have been taken by surprise by the events in Turkey. In this case, the uprising or “revolution” is not about economics, its not about the poor versus the rich, although that may be an aspect of it. It’s not about politics or religion per se, although these may also be issues. It’s about a generation of Indigos standing up and saying: “This doesn’t work for us!”.

The Middle East is inching towards war.  In Syria, the Assad regime wants high-tech Russian missiles to thwart new efforts for a no-fly zone that the Obama Administration may be calling for.  Israel says if the Russians deliver them, they will attack and knock them out.  The missiles would make a no-fly zone very difficult.  Assad says he has the S-300 missiles, but the U.S. says not yet. More than 70,000 Syrians have been killed in more than two years of civil war.  Syria has said it will attack Israel if Israel attacks again.

Senator John McCain met with Syrian rebels to discuss arming them.  A large part of the rebel effort is al-Qaeda, a known terrorist group.  Lawmakers say they want to vet the rebels, but how are you going to stop al-Qaeda from getting weapons?

In news on the other side of the Middle East, there is a new State Department report that claims Iran is increasing sponsorship of terrorism.  A big benefactor is Hezbollah.  That’s who is helping Assad in Syria stay in power.  Will this turn into an excuse to attack Iran?

Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder has invited many mainstream media (MSM) organizations for an “off-the-record” conversation, and most outlets have declined to allow the White House to engage in spin and pressure to get the media back in line.  FOX, CBS and the New York Times are just a few that have said noto “off-the-record” conversations.  Wow, the MSM acting like journalists again.  How refreshing.

Stephen Lendman ~ Peace Process Pretense

SteveLendmanBlog May 28 2013

Palestine

Peace process initiatives were stillborn from inception. Decades of futility define them. Palestinians genuinely want peace. They deserve it and much more.

Israeli leaders pretend they care. Doing so conceals their dark agenda. They deplore peaceful conflict resolution. They prioritize violence and instability.

They want all valued parts of Judea and Samaria exclusively for Jews. They want Palestinians occupied, exploited, abused and denied. They don’t negotiate. They demand.

On February 1, Hillary Clinton stepped down as Secretary of State. John Kerry replaced her. He’s made four Middle East trips so far. He’s up to no good.

Key is assuring support for Washington’s imperial agenda. He wants peace process hypocrisy restarted. He and Netanyahu plot privately. Abbas is pressured to go along.

He’s a longtime Israeli collaborator. He sold out long ago. He provides enforcer services. He’s well compensated for doing so. He pretends concern for his own people. He never did before. He doesn’t now.

Whether he’ll accede to Kerry’s demands remains to be seen. He usually complies with Washington. Sometimes it’s after pretending otherwise.

On Sunday, he and Shimon Peres met in Amman. They did so on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa.

“The time for peace is now,” said Peres. Throughout decades of government service, he prioritized conflicts, violence, instability and persecution.

With other top officials, he’s responsible for decades of pernicious colonialism, apartheid, occupation, and regional wars of aggression.

The IRS scandal of targeting conservative groups is messy, and the Obama Administration is going to look like it was drug through a hog lot before it’s through. Lois Lerner, who was in charge of overseeing tax exempt groups, was put on administrative leave (with pay) after she pled the 5th. Funny thing though, before she pled, she made a statement that said she basically did nothing wrong. Then she answered a question and used her Constitutional right to not self-incriminate. Republican lawmakers say because she testified and made statements, she can’t have it both ways. Some say she waived her 5th Amendment right. This screams for a special prosecutor, and Democrats are not going to stand in the way. They are not going to cover for the White House. It is amazing to me how little the President claims to know about the IRS scandal, Benghazi and Department of Justice investigating journalists doing their jobs. I don’t know which is worse, a clueless President or a President knowing and doing nothing.

The President does know something about the drone program that some say is nothing more than a drone murder program. President Obama says he is going to “narrow” the parameters. That’s cold comfort to the already more than 3,000 people who have been killed by drones in the Middle East. Many were suspected terrorists, but many have been civilians hit by collateral damage. This includes more than 100 children! Could someone please tell me how we can go after al-Qaeda in places like Pakistan and Yemen and then turn around and arm al-Qaeda rebels in Libya and Syria? Could someone please tell me how this murder program is compatible with the due process clauses in the Constitution? Being “careful” or “narrowing” the scope does not take the place of charges, a public trial and being judged by a jury of your peers. This should be the standard, at least, for U.S. citizens. The government has finally admitted the U.S. has killed four Americans with drone strikes.

… The Twig Or The Forest?

I was contacted this week by a resident of Iran to tell me that Davidicke.com is ‘filtered’ (blocked) in Iran and that I am seen as a ‘persona non grata’, or ‘an unwelcome person’.

The term usually refers to ‘a foreign person whose entering or remaining in a particular country is prohibited by that country’s government’ and is described as ‘the most serious form of censure which one country can apply to foreign diplomats, who are otherwise protected by diplomatic immunity from arrest and other normal kinds of prosecution.’

Well, clearly the latter doesn’t apply to me in the literal sense, but I take the point and I am deeply hurt. I have never been an unwelcome person before and I shall have to take to my bed.

I refer to what I call Twig People and Forest People and this is a case in point. The vast majority are currently Twig People and this is why we got into this mess. The few – though gathering in number – are Forest People.

‘What? No twigs?’

By that I mean this: Twig People are the victims of their own myopia and cannot see beyond their race, culture, religion, job, political preference, sexuality and societorial programming. Forest People see all this as an irrelevant diversion from the big picture of global control and abuse of all races, cultures, religions, jobs, political preferences, sexualities and societorial programs.

They also see it as a diversion from the even greater truth that we are all ONE Awareness having different experiences for the Biblical threescore-years-and-ten – not that time really exists either except as a decoded program.

Stephen Lendman ~ Israeli Lobby Power In America

Stephen Lendman’s blog May 13 2013

In 1949, the American Zionist Council (AZC) was established. It operated until 1962. It was ordered to register as a foreign agent.

It failed to do so. It transferred its responsibilities to AIPAC. It calls itself “America’s Pro-Israel Lobby. It operates as an unregistered foreign agent.

It’s done so since 1953. With rare exceptions, no one in Congress confronts it. It wields enormous influence over US foreign policy. It fronts for Israeli lawlessness. It’s one of 52 major US Zionist organizations.

James Petras’ important book titled “The Power of Israel in the United States” discussed its enormous influence on US policy. It’s done so for over half a century.

It has deep roots throughout government, the business community, the dominant media, academia, the clergy, and powerful wealthy Jewish families.

Broad support comes from doctors, lawyers, accountants, other professionals, philanthropists, journalists and others.

Challengers risk being intimidated, blackmailed, smeared, pressured, removed from positions of authority, or called national security or terrorist threats.

Senator J. William Fulbright (1905 – 1995) first called Congress “Israeli-occupied territory.” He said “Israel controls the United States Senate. We should be more concerned about United States’ interests,” he added.

Former US Joint Chiefs Chairman Admiral Thomas Moorer (1970 – 1974) said:

“I’ve never seen a President – I don’t care who he is – stand up to (the Israelis). It just boggles the mind. They always get what they want.”

“The Israelis know what is going on all the time. If the American people understood what a grip those people have got on our government, they would rise up in arms. Our citizens certainly don’t have any idea what goes on.”

Israel bombed Syria at the beginning of the week, and it has huge possible consequences to the U.S., Middle East and the world.  The Israelis reportedly attacked multiple sites in Syria.  Part of the raid was meant to destroy Iranian rockets that could strike just about anywhere in Israel.  At least 100 Syrian soldiers were killed.  These scud rockets are a fourth generation missile that are precision guided, carry a 1,000 pound payload and have a range of 185 miles.  The Israelis are afraid of these rockets falling into the hands of Hezbollah, a terror group backed by Syria and Iran.  The Iranians charge there is going to be a “crushing response.” Syria called this an “act of war.” Whatever you call it, it’s an escalation in a civil war that has already claimed the lives of 70,000 Syrians.  The big problem is going to be payback and implications of this turning into a wider Middle East war and possibly world war.  Russia, China and Iran back Syria.  The U.S. and its allies back the rebels that have ties to al-Qaeda–also a terror group.

Benghazi whistleblowers testified in Congress, and some bombs were dropped.  One of the biggest was from Deputy Chief Gregory Hicks who said he spoke on the phone with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hours after the attack started.  Hicks told Secretary of State Clinton that Benghazi was under attack.  There was no mention of protests or an anti-Islam YouTube video.  Hicks testified that the video was a “non-event.”  Ms. Clinton knew right then and there it was a terror attack.  Why the talking points for U.N. Secretary Susan Rice on five Sunday talk shows that this was a protest about a video?  Second big question was who told the military to stand down?  It was reported a C-130 could have been there in four hours from the U.S. airbase in Italy.  There were men ready to go from Tripoli to Benghazi in cars to try to save U.S. personnel fighting off waves of attacks.  The attacks lasted 12 hours.  The U.S. flew 20,000 missions to bomb and attack the Gadhafi regime, and we couldn’t get to Benghazi with any air support?   If Hillary Clinton knew there was a terror attack, then why the phony story about a stupid “non-event” video.

Stephen Lendman ~ BBC’s Longstanding Pro-Israeli Bias

Stephen Lendman May 6 2013

BBC’s first general manager John Reit

Since 1922, BBC’s first general manager, John Reith, explained his mandate. UK officials “know they can trust us not be be really impartial,” he said.

It’s a reliable business/government partner. Earlier it was called the “British Falsehood Corporation.” More recently it’s been known as the “British Bombing (or Bombast) Club.”

Its claim about “honesty, integrity (being) what the BBC stands for, free from political influence and commercial pressure” doesn’t wash. It never did.

UK-based Media Lens offers independent, “authoritative criticism.” Its reports reflect “reality.” It’s free from corporate or government influence.

It once called BBC reporting fundamentally one-sided, imbalanced, “biased, blinkered and culpable.”

“Anyone can spot the propaganda with a modicum of vigilance while watching the news.”

In April 2008, Media Lens said “news priorities….mean the more Palestinians killed the less importance their deaths have to news organizations like” BBC.

“Conversely, the fewer Israelis killed the more seriousness their deaths are accorded.”

“As a result of….undeclared media censorship, public understanding of the Middle East remains limited; and challenges to Western support of brutal Israeli policy are easily diffused and minimised.”

“Sadly, the net effect is that the BBC provides cover for Israel’s oppression of the Palestinians.” It’s longstanding. It predates the Nakba.

BBC Watch “monitor(s) BBC coverage of Israel for accuracy and impartiality.”

Ben Fulford (April 22 2013) ~ Three More Major Terrorist Incidents Threatened After Boston And Texas

Benjamin Fulford

Korea

A member of the Japanese Yakuza was contacted by members of the cabal last week and told to inform the White Dragon Society that “after Kennedy and Bush would come Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and one other.” Since the Boston terror psy-ops included a bombing of the Kennedy Library and the missile attack in Texas took place close to the Bush ranch, the warning seems to be a hint that some major attacks linked to these two other presidents and “one other,” were planned for the near future.

Somebody has also placed a $1 billion bet on a major US stock market plunge this week in what may be a sign of foreknowledge of further major terrorist events, according to an MI5 source.

There is also evidence of a huge information war between two major factions in the US over the bombing attacks in Texas and Boston. The Department of Homeland Security (SS) Sabbatean mafia faction staged the Boston attack in an attempt to create a psychological atmosphere favourable to martial law, while the opposition inside the agencies clearly tried to sabotage this attack and make it clear to all this was government staged.

In contrast to this increasing infighting and negative news in the US, there has been very good news coming out of Asia last week. A White Dragon Society representative returned from Beijing where talks with Chinese military leaders made it clear China was not going to be fooled into war by any Sabbatean (Israeli) false flag attack in the area. In addition, on the subject of North Korea

it has been confirmed that talks with the South on reunification of the Korean peninsula are proceeding well. Furthermore, concrete moves are afoot for the normalization of relations between Japan and North Korea. The Pentagon has also given the green light for reunification of the Korean peninsula.

There is a lot we have been asked not to report at this time in order to prevent sabotage of the negotiations by Sabbatean agents. However, it will be major news when it does come out.

The Chinese military also said that even if they were forced to engage in military activity, they would not attempt anything big with their navy. Their navy is still so untested that during recent sea trials of their new aircraft carrier, most of sailors got seasick, an admiral offered as an example of their unpreparedness. If truly forced into war, they would use their overwhelming superiority in numbers on land, possibly in the Korean peninsula, the sources said. However, given the ongoing push for peace in the region, this was an extremely remote possibility.

Greg Hunter ~ Weekly News Wrap Up March 22 2013 [Video]

USA Watchdog

I am covering just three stories in the Weekly News Wrap-Up, but they are big ones.  They are the Cyprus bailout, Obama and his Middle East trip, and the Fed’s decision to keep on printing.  The EU is getting very tough with Cyprus and its banking crisis.  It is demanding it pay in some way for part of the bailout of its troubled banks.  There are several plans afoot, and they all include someone losing deposit money.  One plan says it will now protect all “insured” accounts, but that means billions in uninsured money is up for grabs.  The uninsured money, no doubt, belongs, in part, to the Russians who are mad as hell they are being fleeced.  The Cypriot government said the banks would re-open this week but put that off until next week.  Who knows how this will all shake out, but I cannot see how there is not going to be a run on those banks when they re-open.  There are simply going to be some bank failures.  One Russian billionaire thinks this may turn into another Lehman event that could cause another financial meltdown.  Lehman was the fourth largest investment bank before it went belly up five years ago.  Financial analyst Greg Mannarino says, “Cyprus is the spark that could light the fuse that sets the Euro Zone on fire.”

President Obama is in the Middle East this week.  He gave a speech in Israel, and I must say, it was one of his best speeches.  It was a masterpiece.  I thought it was very fair to both Israel and the Palestinians.  It did not erase the massive problems there.  Hamas was barely brought up.  There is a cease-fire there and nothing more.  Syria is in a full blown civil war, and it seems to be spreading beyond its borders.  The President talked about the need for diplomacy with Iran’s nuclear program but did not mention any new ways to get the Iranians to comply.  Iran is not backing down on its nuclear program as far as I can see.  The President did say the same thing he’s been saying for months, and that is all options are on the table and time is not unlimited.

Olive Can Cure Malaria? And WHO doesn’t know?

Zen-Haven April 10 2012 (Thanks, Anne S)

“The global fight against malaria is being threatened by growing resistance to powerful new drugs which have become one of the most important weapons in the battle.

Experts say that the medical effects of artemisinin-based compounds, being used to treat people around the Burma/Thailand border, are weakening. Where there were once apparently miraculous recoveries of children treated with artemisinin-combination therapy (ACT) now the treatments take longer to be effective”

More Malaria: global battle to contain disease set back as powerful drugs lose potency (Source: Rense.com )

Okay. Did the Matrix forget Olive?

Okay. Did the Matrix forget  The Honey in the Hive ?

WHO doesn’t really want you to know about these “remedies”.

Why?

Olive and Malaria

Olive leaf teas were the predecessors of today’s olive leaf extracts. They first became popular in the 1820′s as a treatment for malaria.

It is hard to imagine today just how great a plague malaria used to be all over the world. Anywhere there was standing water and a dense population of human beings, malaria-bearing mosquitoes quickly appeared.

Decades of eradication efforts have eliminated malaria from most of the industrialized world, but malaria was once a leading cause of death, especially among the young and healthy. Even today, however, approximately 225 million people in the developing world, especially in sub-Saharan Africa, are infected with the disease.

The first treatment for malaria that actually worked was quinine, made from the bark of the cinchona tree, found in Bolivia and Peru and brought back to Europe in the 1600′s. The demand for quinine, however, outstripped demand, so the doctors of the time searched for other herbal remedies for the disease. In the 1820′s doctors begin to prescribe teas made of olive leaf, and a blend of strong olive leaf tea and wine known as Tinctura Olea Foliorum.

Olive leaf had the advantage of being locally available throughout much of Europe and the Middle East, and much less expensive than quinine. Later in the 1800′s, chemists isolated a compound they called oleuropein from the leaf.

The olive tree makes oleuropein as a natural insecticide. The oleuropein in olive leafs protects them against the lacey-winged olive fly that attacks the fruit and the black scale that attacks the bark.

James P. Tucker Jr. ~ One-World Mouthpieces Continue Slandering Iran, Pushing War

American Free Press March 14 2013

Gold fringed mercantile flag in background

President Obama, who takes dictation from Bilderberg, has done an about-face. After having been critical of Israel’s expansionist wars in the past, he is visiting Israel for the first time March 20 to grovel apologies.

“This trip is a signal that the president has an interest in . . . the broader concerns that Israel is facing,” said Dennis Ross, a Bilderberg luminary and senior Middle East adviser in Obama’s first term. “It will be the president traveling to Israel to ask for a new beginning.” (He will also be “asking” for a Middle East war.)

In June 2009, Obama said “the United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements” in Palestinian lands after the 1967 invasion of Egypt and Golan heights. Obama had also been critical of Israel’s brutal occupation of Palestinian land, including killing and torturing men, old women and children. Now, Obama is embracing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and increasing aid to Israel. These heads of state will discuss military attacks on Iran to prevent the development of “nuclear weapons.”
