Soren Dreier ~ Been Down So Long…

Zen-Haven February 25 2013

It seems to be getting increasingly obvious on a daily basis that the western society is getting divided into:

Those who have and those who don’t.The west is rolling the time back to its feudalistic roots, where the gap between the rich and poor is widening disproportionately, something we are used to observing in developing countries or through the timeline of history.

Those who have what they need: be it work, money in the bank, food on the table, are having discussions in the media with those who are equally affluent, on how to control those less fortunateby cutting social benefits and accusing them of defrauding the social benefits or welfare program.

The politicians are merely the front line rulers, puppets and stooges for the “shadow people”: the ones we cannot see, the ones that control and dictate all the policies implemented. Poverty is very big business and so is surveillance.

9.11 being a matrix construct, and the fallout from this massive hoax has led to gross violation of privacy, mass spying and the masses conditioned into believing it’s for their own good. The state now has permission to sneak behind the trash can, take a photo and slam a single mum for benefit fraud, to surveillance of electronic activities and these are just a few of civil liberties slowly being taken away from people.

A decade or so ago, before 9.11, no able minded citizen would have put up with this.  This mass conditioning and hypnotic state is being promoted daily by the mainstream media that: We´re in a finical crisis and you are a low income fraud suspect burdening the state.

To add insult to injury, the puppets and stooges propose new taxes on those already struggling or threaten to reduce benefits. Ordinary citizens are being conditioned in to paying taxes to curb global warming, which is another matrix hoax and the proceeds collected go who knows where!

And the population in its hypnotic trance just accepts these lies.

Tony Cartalucci ~ Hypocrisy: US Arms Al Qaeda In Syria, Mass-Slaughters Civilians In Afghanistan

theintelhub.com February 13 2013

Image: Just some of the corporate members of the US-Qatar Business Council, whose president just so happens to sit on the same board of directors of the Middle East Policy Center as Karen AbuZayd, co-author of one of many conveniently timed UN Human Rights Council reports on Syria.

AFP has reported that a recent NATO airstrike in Afghanistan has killed over 10 civilians in an all-too-familiar headline glossed over by the Western media in an exercise of both depravity and hypocrisy.

RT’s article, “NATO airstrike kills 10 Afghan civilians, mostly women and children – officials,” notes in particular that up to 11,864 civilians were killed in Afghanistan between 2007 and 2011, and that civilian deaths before 2007 were not even tracked by the UN.

Such facts reveal alarming hypocrisy as the UN keeps almost daily, inflated tallies of civilian deaths elsewhere, in particular, in nations like Libya and Syria where Western interests have been heavily involved in regime change and in dire need of manipulating public perception worldwide.

The United Nations had in fact pieced together a dubious report crafted from “witness accounts” compiled not in Syria, or even beyond its borders in a refugee camp, but instead, in Geneva by “witnesses” supplied by the so-called Syrian “opposition.”

Worse yet, that UN report was co-authored by Karen Koning AbuZayd, a director of the US Washington-based corporate think-tank, Middle East Policy Council.

Its board of directors includes Exxon men, CIA agents, representatives of the Saudi Binladin Group (Osama Bin Laden’s family business), former ambassadors to Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar, US military and government representatives, and even the president of the US-Qatar Business Council, which includes amongst its membership, Al Jazeera, Chevron, Exxon, munitions manufacturer Raytheon (who supplied the opening salvos during NATO’s operations against Libya), and Boeing.

In other words, the very underwriters of the armed militancy that is consuming Syria are sitting along side the head of the UN commission producing reports portraying the Syrian government as guilty of “war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Wayne Madsen ~ Big Brother Takes Over From Uncle Sam

A Single Intelligence Network For A New World Order

While budgets are being slashed by governments around the world, national intelligence agencies are not only flush with money but they are increasingly networking their resources against the “threat.” What is the threat? It is whatever national leaders and their governments deem it to be. One day it is “Al Qaeda,” the next day it is Iran, then North Korea, then global narco-terrorists, and so on and so on…

Just as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is becoming a global military past without a distinct enemy, the Central Intelligence Agency, Britain’s MI-6, and other intelligence agencies are increasingly pooling their intelligence and networking their information-sharing networks. To what purpose would such citadels of secrecy wish to cooperate? The answer is simple. In a world of the tiny minority “haves” and the super-majority “have nots”, the intelligence agencies, like national armed forces, believe there is safety in numbers. In a conflict between the minority super-wealthy and the rest of society, intelligence agencies are increasingly protecting the interests of corporations and not countries. Intelligence agencies, therefore, have decided to become a global Panopticon where no one can hide and no secrets are held.

For many years, attempts to create a worldwide database of personal data, beginning with basic criminal information, were forestalled by the fact that the chief promoter of such a combined on-line repository of information, the United States, lacked a government department akin to other nations’ Interior Ministries that would be natural partners of the Americans. The American Interior Department had nothing to do with internal security because it had jurisdiction over such areas as federal lands and national parks. The aftermath of the 9/11 attack on the United States created the impetus for the creation of global communication networks and data warehouses for use by intelligence agencies in the new Department of Homeland Security, America’s version of the Interior Ministry.

28 Good Questions That The Mainstream Media Should Be Asking

The Economic Collapse Blog | October 9 2012

Why is there so little trust in the mainstream media these days?  CNN ratings have been hovering close to record lows over the past few months.  A recent Gallup survey found that 60 percent of all Americans “have little or no trust” in the mainstream media.  That was a record high according to Gallup.  So why is this happening?  Sadly, the truth is that the mainstream media quit telling the truth a long time ago.  The mainstream media has an agenda, and more Americans than ever are beginning to recognize this.  Once upon a time, control of the news in the United States was at least somewhat decentralized. But now there are just six giant media corporations that control almost everything that we see, hear and watch.

The version of “the news” that they give us is designed to serve the interests of those corporate giants and the other corporate giants that spend billions of dollars to advertise their products through those outlets.  Watching the news on television can be an extremely frustrating experience these days.  Yes, there are little bits and pieces of the truth in there, but you have to wade through an awful lot of “infotainment” to get to those bits and pieces.  That is one of the reasons why the “alternative media” has absolutely exploded in recent years.  The American people are hungry for the truth, and they are increasingly turning to alternative sources of news on the Internet in an attempt to find it.

We live at a time when the world is changing more rapidly than ever before.  Just about everything that can be shaken is being shaken, and anyone with half a brain realizes that we are heading for challenges that previous generations never even could have imagined.

There certainly is no shortage of news, but instead of focusing on the terribly important issues that we are facing, the mainstream media feeds us an endless stream of fluff, scandals and celebrities.

Just check out some of the headlines that I found on the front pages of major mainstream news websites today….

  • “Man Dies After Roach-Eating Contest”
  • “Ex-NFL Cheerleader Admits To Sex With Minor”
  • “Facebook Rolls Out Pinterest-Like Tool For Buying Stuff”
  • “Grumpy Cat Becomes Internet Sensation”

So what should the mainstream media really be talking about today?

Greg Hunter ~ Weekly News Wrap Up October 5 2012 [Video]

USA Watchdog | October 5 2012

The first Presidential debate is wrapped up, and it looks like Republican challenger Mitt Romney scored a big victory against President Obama.  Romney zinged Obama a couple of times and looked way more prepared than the President.  When Obama brought up the nearly $3 billion in tax credits given to oil and gas companies, Romney fired back with $90 billion to green energy companies, most of which have failed or are not making a profit.  Romney also scored points describing the way “Obama Care” was pushed through without bipartisan support in Congress.  When Romney was Governor of Massachusetts, he pointed out he got bipartisan support from a deeply Democratic state.

It seems, every week, there is a new wrinkle in the Middle East.  This week, Syria and Turkey traded shots across their borders.  Syria fired mortars into Syria, and Turkey shelled Syrian troops.  Turkey says this is the 8th such attack from Syria since the 18 month old civil war began.  The Syrian army is shooting at Syrian refugees that have fled into Turkey.  Turkey says it does not want war, but it’s still shooting.  This is a nasty little development because Turkey is a NATO member (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).  Syria has apologized and says it will not happen again.  Syria shot down a Turkish reconnaissance plane in June.  By all accounts, it looks like the Syrian conflict is spreading, not shrinking.

Paul Craig Roberts ~ Is Washington Deaf As Well as Criminal?

Paul Craig Roberts | August 16 2012

The morons who rule the american sheeple are not only dumb and blind, they are deaf as well. The ears of the american “superpower” only work when the Israeli prime minister, the crazed Netanyahu, speaks. Then Washington hears everything and rushes to comply.

Israel is a tiny insignificant state, created by the careless British and the stupid americans. It has no power except what its american protector provides. Yet, despite Israel’s insignificance, it rules Washington.

When a resolution introduced by the Israel Lobby is delivered to Congress, it passes unanimously. If Israel wants war, Israel gets its wish. When Israel commits war crimes against Palestinians and Lebanon and is damned by the hundred plus UN resolutions passed against Israel’s criminal actions, the US bails Israel out of trouble with its veto.

The power that tiny Israel exercises over the “worlds’s only superpower” is unique in history. Tens of millions of “christians” bow down to this power, reinforcing it, moved by the exhortations of their “christian” ministers.

Netanyahu lusts for war against Iran. He strikes out against all who oppose his war lust. Recently, he called Israel’s top generals “pussies” for warning against a war with Iran. He regards former Israeli prime ministers and former heads of the Israeli intelligence service as traitors for opposing his determination to attack Iran. He has denounced america’s servile president Obama and america’s top military leader for being “soft on Iran.” The latest poll in Israel shows that a solid majority of the Israelis are opposed to an Israeli attack on Iran. But Netanyahu is uninterested in the opinion of Israeli citizens. He has Washington watching his back, so he is war mad. It is a mystery why Israelis put Netanyahu in public office instead of in an insane asylum.

Netanyahu is not alone. He has the american neoconservatives in his corner. The american neoconservatives are as crazed as Netanyahu. They believe in nuclear war and are itching to nuke some Muslim country and then get on to nuking Russia and China. It is amazing that no more than two or three dozen people have the fate of the entire world in their hands.

The Democratic Party is helpless before them.

The Republican Party is their vehicle.

The Russians, watching Netanyahu push Washington toward dangerous confrontations keep raising their voices about the danger of nuclear war.

On May 17 Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev warned the West against launching “hasty wars,” which could result “although I do not want to scare anyone” in “the use of a nuclear weapon.”

Paul Craig Roberts ~ Can The World Survive Washington’s Hubris?

Paul Craig Roberts | June 28 2012

When President Reagan nominated me as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, he told me that we had to restore the US economy, to rescue it from stagflation, in order to bring the full weight of a powerful economy to bear on the Soviet leadership, in order to convince them to negotiate the end of the cold war. Reagan said that there was no reason to live any longer under the threat of nuclear war.

The Reagan administration achieved both goals, only to see these accomplishments discarded by successor administrations. It was Reagan’s own vice president and successor, George Herbert Walker Bush, who first violated the Reagan-Gorbachev understandings by incorporating former constituent parts of the Soviet Empire into NATO and taking Western military bases to the Russian frontier.

The process of surrounding Russia with military bases continued unabated through successor US administrations with various “color revolutions” financed by the US National Endowment for Democracy, regarded by many as a front for the CIA. Washington even attempted to install a Washington-controlled government in Ukraine and did succeed in this effort in former Soviet Georgia, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin.

The President of Georgia, a country located between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, is a Washington puppet. Recently, he announced that former Soviet Georgia is on schedule to become a NATO member in 2014.

Those old enough to remember know that NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, was an alliance between Western Europe and the US against the threat of the Red Army overrunning Western Europe. The North Atlantic is a long, long ways from the Black and Caspian Seas. What is the purpose of Georgia being a NATO member except to give Washington a military base on the Russian underbelly?

The evidence is simply overwhelming that Washington–both parties–have Russia and China targeted. Whether the purpose is to destroy both countries or merely to render them unable to oppose Washington’s world hegemony is unclear at this time. Regardless of the purpose, nuclear war is the likely outcome.

The presstitute American press pretends that an evil Syrian government is murdering innocent citizens who only want democracy and that if the UN won’t intervene militarily, the US must in order to save human rights. Russia and China are vilified by US functionaries for opposing any pretext for a NATO invasion of Syria.

Awakening, Not Awake

The honeycomb of division and divide and rule that is human society can clearly be seen in the bee colony that we call ‘life’. The individual hexagram sections of a honeycomb are known as cells and a greater symbol of human society I can hardly imagine.

There is a religious cell, ‘science’ cell; political cell; racial cell; cultural cell; income cell; ‘class’ cell, even a sell cell for those who are obsessed with selling whatever they can get people to buy. I met one of these people once wearing a tee-shirt that said: ‘I sell, therefore I am.’ These various cells pretty much work in isolation and when they do interact it is normally in pursuit of personal benefit …

Paul Craig Roberts ~ Washington’s Hypocrisies

Paul Craig Roberts |  May 25 2012

The US government is the second worst human rights abuser on the planet and the sole enabler of the worst–Israel. But this doesn’t hamper Washington from pointing the finger elsewhere.

The US State Department’s “human rights report” focuses its ire on Iran and Syria, two countries whose real sin is their independence from Washington, and on the bogyman- in-the-making–China, the country selected for the role of Washington’s new Cold War enemy.

Hillary Clinton, another in a long line of unqualified Secretaries of State, informed “governments around the world: we are watching, and we are holding you accountable,” only we are not holding ourselves accountable or Washington’s allies like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the NATO puppets.

Hillary also made it “clear to citizens and activists everywhere: You are not alone. We are standing with you,” only not with protesters at the Chicago NATO summit or with the Occupy Wall Street protesters, or anywhere else in the US where there are protests. (ref)

The State Department stands with the protesters funded by the US in the countries whose governments the US wishes to overthrow. Protesters in the US stand alone as do the occupied Palestinians who apparently have no human rights to their homes, lands, olive groves, or lives.

Here are some arrest numbers for a few recent US protests. The New York Daily News reports that as of November 17, 2011, 1,300 Occupy Wall Street protesters were arrested in New York City alone. Fox News reported (October 2, 2011) that 700 protesters were arrested on the Brooklyn Bridge. At the NATO summit in Chicago last week, 90 protesters were arrested (Chicago Journal).

In the US some protesters are being officially categorized as “domestic extremists” or “domestic terrorists,” a new threat category that Homeland Security announced is now the focus of its attention, displacing Muslim terrorists as the number one threat to the US. In September 2010, federal police raided the homes of peace activists in Chicago and Minneapolis. The FBI is trying to concoct a case against them by claiming that the peace activists donated money to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. As demanded by Israel, the US government has designated the PFLP as a terrorist group.

Susanne Posel ~ House Passes HR 4133 Binding The US To Israel And Their War Agenda (Thanks, Caro)

Activist Post | May 25 2012

Without any mainstream media coverage at all, the House of Representatives passed the United States – Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012 (USIESC).

The USIESC, written by Eric Cantor, claims there is a need to provide Israel with unlimited military and financial aid as a result of the disturbances caused by the Arab Spring.

Israel will have an essentially unlimited amount of funds allocated to them through the Federal Reserve Bank. The country will also enjoy an “expanded role of NATO” that consists of an “enhanced presence at NATO headquarters and exercises”.

The USIESC pledges the US government’s “commitment” to assist Israel in remaining a Jewish State; as well as protection from the UN if the UN Security Council resolves to hold Israel accountable to international laws.

The US government’s counter-terrorism unit will also aid Israel by any means.

This USIESC asserts that “supported by the American people” the US government will “repeatedly affirm the special bond between the United States and Israel” and that the two countries have “shared values and shared interests.”

If there were ever language to suppose that there were a merging of these two nations, the USIESC fits that bill.

William F. Jasper ~ The NATO/UN Army: Perpetual War … and Bankruptcy for U.S.

The New American | May 24 2012

Pretending to have achieved some kind of victory in Afghanistan, President Obama and the NATO leaders have pushed ahead on the globalist agenda to transform NATO more fully into the global military arm of the United Nations.

“We’re now unified behind a plan to responsibly wind down the war in Afghanistan,” declared President Obama, at the conclusion of the May 20-21 NATO Summit in Chicago.

But don’t pop the champagne corks just yet; America’s longest war, now over a decade in duration, is not ending any time soon. What does “responsibly wind down the war” mean? According to President Obama and the other NATO leaders, it means NATO “combat troops” will have left Afghanistan by the end of 2014. Which is another way of spinning the grim fact that they intend to keep NATO forces (primarily U.S. forces) fighting in Afghanistan for another two-and-a-half years. And after 2014, an unspecified number of NATO/US forces will remain for “training” purposes for an indefinite period.

The Afghanistan War, which has already cost half a trillion dollars (and over 12,000 American casualties), has succeeded in establishing Hamid Karzai and his clan in a ruling regime that is universally recognized as thoroughly corrupt and anti-American. It is also a regime without popular support that is sure to collapse after our withdrawal — if not before. And when the country breaks down into a bloody civil war? Well, in order to prevent that, President Obama says someone must come up with $4.1 billion per year to finance the equipping and training of the Afghan army and police force.

The Washington Post reported:

The United States spent $12 billion last year, 95 percent of the total cost, to train and equip an Afghan army and police force that is expected to total 352,000 by this fall. With a gross domestic product of about $17 billion, Afghanistan is incapable of funding a force that size.

As it looks for a way to cut future costs and assumes an eventual political solution to the war among the Afghans themselves, the administration has projected that Afghanistan’s security needs could be met even if the force were cut by up to one-third. It estimates the cost of sustaining the reduced force at about $4.1 billion a year, half of which the United States would provide. Afghanistan would pay about $500,000.

President Obama, always generous with the taxpayers’ money, offered to cover half the costs of the “transition.” However, the other NATO partners failed to put any money on the table at Chicago. France said it was pulling its troops out.

Dennis Kucinich ~ NATO Talks a Sham

Reader Supported News | May 22 2012

OPINION ~ The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is not a benevolent organization. NATO is not about the North Atlantic and it’s not about our collective defense.

NATO is a cost-sharing organization that finances aggressive military action. By hiding behind the claim that the organization provides for ‘common defense,’ NATO allows us to wage wars of choice under the guise of international peacekeeping. The most recent example was the unconstitutional war in Libya where NATO, operating under a United Nations mandate to protect civilians, instead backed one side in a civil war and pursued a policy of regime change.

Today, NATO leaders are meeting in Chicago to discuss the future of Afghanistan. The talks are being billed as discussions of plans to end the war. The war in Afghanistan is not ending. These talks are simply about financing the next phase of the war.

The Strategic Partnership Agreement between the U.S. and Afghanistan commits us to the country for at least another decade, despite public support for the war being at an all-time low. The United States will pay for half of the estimated $4.1 billion per year cost of supporting 352,000 Afghan army and police officers. Afghanistan’s contribution will be $500,000. The rest will be financed by our ‘NATO partners.’ It is not surprising that support for the war among NATO members is waning, with France threatening to pull out its troops by the end of this year.

David Icke ~ When We Stop Being Divided We’ll Stop Being Ruled

David Icke Newsletter Preview | May 18 2012

What is happening at the moment with the emphasis on protest against individual governments is another form of divide and rule because unless we know how the game is played – globally – how on earth are we going to effectively respond to it?

Those that protest at NATO and G8 summits have a better idea of the global scope and even more so those who turn up to meetings of the Bilderberg Group, a strand in the network that has worked for decades to impose world government and all the other ‘trimmings’ of global control. NATO and the G8 are the outer limit that most of the political ‘Left’ will go in acknowledging the global coordination of world events. I saw that anti-war activist David Swanson asked in an article this week why the G8 and NATO summits attract thousands of demonstrators while Bilderberg is largely ignored by those of the ‘Left’:

‘Do you have to be xenophobic, paranoid, isolationist, or libertarian to protest a secretive gathering of over 100 billionaires, industrialists, media barons, and politicians working to shape our public sphere, or has the left dropped the ball? Is it time for Occupy to step in?’

It has long been my view that the ‘Left’ never picked up the ball in the first place in terms of an understanding of world affairs. It has always positioned itself by manipulated design as a polarity to the ‘Right’. The Control System needs polarised positions and groups to trigger the essential ‘class struggle’, more accurately known as divide and rule.

The Left has been extremely reluctant to even research, never mind encompass, the global conspiracy because to do so would demolish its very collective self-identity and world-view of ‘us’ against ‘them’. It would mean to acknowledge that the same force manipulates though ‘us’ and ‘them’ and thus to accept that they have been ‘had’. Few appear willing to go through that mental purge, and thus emotional catharsis, and open their minds to the truth that they have so long denied and often ridiculed.
