August 2026 Energy Report
Jennifer Hoffman – It’s August, the 8th month which means that the year is winding down. By the time August ends it feels like the holidays are just around the corner, then the year is over. I feel like this year has been in a holding pattern. Things are happening, but many things are starting and nothing is completing. I think August will be the turning point for that.
August is the 8th month and in a 2026, which is a 1 year, it’s a 9, the number of endings. But these are not normal or usual endings, this is closure if we are ready for that. If you are part of the GPS 2026 group, I explained this in the August call. You can join that program at this link.
August energy theme is completion, and that is more than endings that must occur for beginnings. Completion is being finished, complete, with no loose ends, no regret, no second chances or second guessing our actions or intentions. If you are given an opportunity for completion this month, take it all the way to the end. Completion must happen before true beginnings can occur.
August 2026 has 2 eclipses which is not rare for August but it brings back the August 21, 2017 eclipse which was called the Great US eclipse. It was at 28 Leo and that correlates to the current degree of the North Node, which just moved into Aquarius. I think there is a synergy there so we will have to wait to see how that plays out. The Universe has interesting ways of creating solutions to the dark agendas that are currently wreaking havoc on the planet.
And in August all of the personal planets change signs. We can expect this from the Sun and the Moon, but the sign changes include Mercury going into Leo and Virgo, Venus going into Libra – one of its signs of rulership, and Mars going into Cancer. I have noticed that when this happens a lot of change happens too.
This year’s 8-8 Lion’s Gate includes Jupiter at 8 Leo, which happens every 12 years. So think back to the 2014 Lion’s Gate and what happened for you then. While some astrologers think the 8-8 Lion’s Gate is unimportant, it corresponds to the Sun’s alignment with Sirius, the brightest star in our galaxy.
It also aligns with Orion’s Belt and its 3 stars, Altinak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. These 3 stars are strongly recognized as powerful and significant in many religious traditions.
In Christianity they represent the 3 wise men. In Chinese astrology, they represent the 3 mansions and the gods of fortune, prosperity, and longevity.
The August 12 solar eclipse is at 20 Leo which has strong ties to the August 2017 eclipse. And the August 28 lunar eclipse at 5 Pisces connects with the strong Pisces energy we had from 2011 to January 2026, when Neptune finally left Pisces.
Lots of past and present represented here, so use the energy that way. Let the past come up so you can see where you need completion, release regret, let yourself have a fresh start, and then have all of your energy available to fully concentrate on the present.
It’s a busy month with something new happening every week so keep your eye on the prize – that’s you – let your intentions be clear and strong, and put yourself first. Remember completions are the energy theme for August so do not be surprised at anything that happens.
