December 2025 Energy Report

Jennifer Hoffman – It’s here, the end of the year and it is more than just a date. In December we complete several important energy cycles and prepare for new adventures in 2026.

We now have Saturn and Neptune direct in Pisces, completing their rare and powerful transit. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011, carefully holding space for our spiritual growth as we went through the tumultuous aspects of 2012 and then 2020 through 2025. Its mission in protecting and supporting our ascension cycle is complete and it moves into Aries to support our new integrated ascension path.

So it’s fitting that December is a double 3 energy – 12th month is a 3 and December 2025 is a 3 as 12 + 9 = 21, 2 + 1 = 3. And in the tarot 21 is the World card, the final card in the major arcana. We also have a triple 3 on December 3 and 30, which we also had this year on March 30 and 30. This has definitely been a year for mastery and we are approaching the end so it’s time to wrap it up and prepare for something new.

33 is the number of mastery but this is less about accomplishment than it is achievement. We achieve mastery with understanding and knowledge, and often acceptance.

For many years, since 2004, I have said that our toughest lesson is acceptance and we have certainly had that in 2025. Mastery may feel like failure when our mastery includes lessons in clarity, energetic misalignment, and the realization that our relatives will never be ‘family.’ Or that the people we have tried so hard to bring to the light prefer to be in darkness.

Mastery isn’t a victory that we win, it’s a new level of self-awareness that we achieve when we learn to manage and control our energy and focus on our joy and fulfillment.

Mastery is a karmic milestone, which was part of our overall 2025 pathway. I highlighted that in the 2025 predictions and the 2025 annual program. Since 2004 you have heard me say that this lifetime is for ending karma, which is why we chose such difficult karmic partners. Well, we are at the end of that cycle and if you are still struggling with this lesson December is a good time to create those endings so you can begin the new energy cycle in 2026 with a clean slate and a clear energy field.

We began December with Mercury going direct from its retrograde in Scorpio and Saturn going direct in Pisces, where it will catch up with Neptune as both enter Aries in early 2026.

Saturn in Pisces since 2023 has been our stabilizer, ensuring that we did not get too far into the spiritual abyss that can be present with Neptune in Pisces, and maintain a level of spiritual awareness and discipline to ensure that we remember that ascension is an integration of spiritual and material.

Saturn in Pisces brings clarity, discernment, discipline, and strategic alignment. This is why you may have been able to see relationships from a new perspective and let go of those that simply are not going to be aligned with you and your ascension path.

Saturn in Pisces has also been a big factor in helping us see very clearly who is using our energy and who genuinely wants support in their transformation. While we want to help and heal everyone, we have to safeguard our own energy and that is where Saturn does its best work.

We’ll start seeing the effects of this energy on December 4 with the full moon in Gemini, closing out the cycle of the May 26 Gemini new moon. What situations started then that are coming to a close now? Did you begin a new project or have an idea then that you can now develop and complete? If it didn’t happen in June it may be because you needed to learn something else or allow events to unfold, and the time and timing were not right. But they may be right now so give that some energy because it’s time for you to shine now.

December’s new moon on the 19th is at 28 Sagittarius, two days before we go into Capricorn season. This new moon is square both Neptune and Saturn in Pisces but that is not a bad thing. It’s our final opportunity to create spiritual balance, energetic congruence between our spiritual and material realities, and leverage the power of these aspects which will never happen again in our lifetime.

Neptune won’t be in late Pisces for another 151 years and Saturn for 29 years. This is truth on steroids – so pay attention to what is happening in your life because you have a lot of spiritual empowerment and understanding available to you if you will use it.

And that topic brings to my mind what happens when I am talking to clients about life situations that they do not want to acknowledge or I point out areas of potential and possibility that they are ignoring. Sometimes they will agree with me and at other times, more often, they will resist my message because they are thinking of complications, their fears rise to the surface, they are afraid to put themselves ‘out there,’ or they are stuck in their comfort zone.

I can gently point out their resistance but I can’t make them change even if the changes could be the answers to their problems. They may think I don’t notice but I do. I can see the subtle shift in their energy and the way they start looking uncomfortable. It’s not my job to change them, just to point out what they could be doing differently and what they could leverage in their lives to smooth their path.

This new moon is one of those times. It is the Universe reminding us that there is no benefit to shining our light if we’re in a tiny room where no one can see it. We can live small or play big, it’s up to us. And this new moon is that message beaming out to us, loudly and clearly.

Now we all remember the heavy Capricorn energy of 2020 and the Saturn Pluto conjunction. We enter 2026 with the personal planets – Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, in Capricorn but we won’t see a replay of 2020. We are going to see a correction of 2020’s energies and a reclamation of our power. This is already starting to unfold, watch the news and current events around the issues that were happening at that time.

December’s energy theme is Mastery, with a touch of completion and closure. In December we are challenged to process our endings so we can begin 2026, which is a 1 year and a new energy cycle, with clearly defined intentions, energy boundaries, and a new ascension purpose. This is not just about ending 2025, it’s about going back to the previous ‘9’ year, which was 2016 and processing from that point.

What happened in 2016 which is now coming to closure?. In 2016 I finally left Kansas City, after nearly 11 years of being a Portal Keeper there, a task which was extremely challenging and very difficult for me. I know that I will be moving in 2026 and that this will not involve Portal Keeper work at the levels I have been engaged with, as have many of you.

We will no longer be energy anchors in places that are not energetically aligned with us.

We will no longer have to struggle with the isolation and loneliness of being in areas that are incompatible with our energies.

We will no longer be tasked with doing energy work for places that do not want our energy and that resist our efforts.

2026 is nearly here so use December’s energy wisely and well. Create a plan for your mastery, strategize and take action so you can release all of those people and situations that are dragging you down and have been stifling and silencing you for decades. And get ready for some big times, big action, and big changes in 2026.
