September 2026 Energy Report
Jennifer Hoffman – September is here and it’s the 9th month in a 1 year (2026) so we have a 10/1 month. Fresh starts and beginnings. Before you get too excited, remember that beginnings require endings. Those endings may have already happened – we have had a lot of endings in the past 6 years – or they may be coming up. When you set an intention for a beginning, something has to end to create the energetic space for it to happen.
10 is both an end and a beginning, it is the 1 of fresh starts and action and the 0 of no-thing. This is pure potential, access to undifferentiated energy that we can create from. And with the Equinox on September 22 is another energy shift with the Sun going into Libra. Remember that the calendar year starts January 1 but the natural year starts with the Spring Equinox around March 21. This is the 3rd quarter of the year, a time for harvest and assessment, as well as acting on what we have learned.
The energy theme for September is Alchemized Action but this is managed, direct, intentional action. We are now able to move from Potential to Possibility to Purposeful Manifestation through Action. Manifestation is the key word here – this is where we alchemize energy into form. We take undifferentiated energy from the field of potential and convert it, via intention, into matter. This is the process of manifestation.
Look at the word ‘manifestation’ and notice the ‘mani’ part. This means using your hands. Do you get manicures? Which body part do they involve? Manifestation is energetic manipulation – turning energy into matter. We manifest our reality by using our intention to interact with energy and create what we want.
We’re in Virgo season and this is a time for organization, assessment, review, and release when necessary. Virgo gets a bad rap because they can be nitpicky, petty, and critical. But that’s when the Virgo energy is directed towards others. This energy can be put to better use by turning it inward, to do our own energy assessment.
Virgo can also become the Martyred Healer, where we limit our own growth and expansion to take on others’ energy and problems. The Martyred Healer also represents where we choose the karma path and never finish healing – ourselves or others – and stay in difficult to toxic situations because we feel that is our mission. It is not but it can be a tough commitment to release ourselves from.
And September’s new moon on the 10th is in Virgo, which is going to partner with Chiron in Taurus to turn our healing focus to self-care, self-awareness, and self-healing. Then the full moon in Libra on September 28 is going to connect with Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus.
And let’s not forget the Equinox on September 22, which is the is our next season in the astrological year and we enter Libra, the sign of balance, relationships, and ‘open enemies.’
How do you plan to prepare for action in September? No pressure. Just pay attention to what comes up for review, release, and reconsideration. The things that did not used to bother you are suddenly annoying or even intolerable.
The truth that you have been ignoring is suddenly very clear and gets your attention. Or the dreams and goals that you have been ignoring that are now taking shape and are becoming more interesting.
This is a time of transition and transformation so watch for those things on your life path.
