Maryam Henein – In the past nine months, I have shifted gears. I have been investigating the mechanics of the soul, reincarnation, and whether there is a way to liberate from the wheel of Samsara.
I was very intrigued when I came across Howdie Mickoski who takes a unique perspective on the idea of “exiting the cave,” drawing from Plato’s allegory while incorporating Gnostic and simulation-theory concepts.
His work suggests that the world we perceive is a carefully constructed illusion—essentially, a soul trap designed to keep us cycling through reincarnation. He views history as a manipulated construct and argues that even spiritual teachings that promote “ascension” may be part of the control system, keeping people tethered to another layer of the matrix rather than achieving true liberation.
He initially thought I might be upset because I had been talking about Ascension. I have raised my frequency and remembered my divine spark. I am about truth and willing to put my ego aside and say I was fooled or wrong.
I thought about what Howdie said. I wondered why there is so much content on YouTube about 5D and Ascension. Why is it allowed on YouTube with abandon? Was there always this prevalence of content about dragons, ascended masters, collective soul readings, and ascending to 5D? Or is it just another layer to the matrix?
Listen to the interview and decide for yourself.
Exiting the Cave
Mickoski suggests that Plato’s cave is more than just a metaphor for ignorance—it is an actual prison for consciousness. In his view, the flickering shadows on the cave wall represent mainstream lies and alternative spiritual paths that still operate within the system’s control. Exiting the cave is not about enlightenment in the traditional sense but about realizing that science, religion, spirituality, history—is part of a sophisticated deception.
According to Mickoski, actual exit requires a deep, personal investigation into reality, unlearning programming, and questioning even the sacred cows of metaphysics and mysticism. He believes most people mistake a new layer of the illusion for true escape, whether it’s technological transhumanism or esoteric ascension narratives.
Ascension as Another Trap
One of Mickoski’s most controversial ideas is that ascension is simply another level of the matrix, rather than true freedom. This aligns with some Gnostic beliefs that even higher-dimensional beings, such as archons or “light beings,” may be part of the deception. He argues that many spiritual movements promote ascension as a form of evolution, but this process could lead to another controlled environment—like upgrading from one cage to another.
This perspective challenges the idea that moving to a “higher frequency” or “5D” is true liberation. Instead, Mickoski proposes that these narratives may be carefully crafted to keep souls willingly reincarnating into a new system, thinking they are free while still subject to control.
His Solution: Remember Who You Are
Rather than focusing on ascension or external saviors, Mickoski encourages direct experience, self-inquiry, and radical questioning of reality. He suggests our true nature is already free, but we’ve been tricked into believing otherwise. True exit, in his view, requires piercing the illusions at all levels—intellectual, emotional, and energetic—until we see the entire game for what it is.
His approach resonates with some of my insights, especially in questioning spiritual narratives that might still be entangled with the “inverted matrix.” His work challenges even the liberating paths, urging people to investigate whether they are breaking free or just moving to a more sophisticated prison.

I think Mickoski is right !
He definitely could be, given what we’re learning about the Matrix -g
I know of 1 person who has explored this rabbit-hole for decades AND documented his journey too: https://soul-healer.com/
He started with the typical lightworker phase and then started digging deeper and deeper and started realizing that all those angelic beings are kind of in the same boat as we are.
Mickoski’s video and Mariam’s summary are fully outstanding. Thank you!
I would agree and in this regard, I recommend reading David Icke’s most recent book, “The Reveal”. B.
