Dog Suddenly Runs Into Middle Of The Street – Driver Slams On His Brakes And Spots This…

Christina – An Ottawa family’s morning walk turned into a real-life drama fit for a movie — starring a four-legged hero. What started as a routine stroll ended with a dog named Clover proving she’s more than just a good girl — she’s a lifesaver.

Haley Moore was enjoying a walk with her loyal pup, Clover, near their Stittsville home when she suddenly collapsed and began seizing. “All I remember is waking up in the ambulance and being really confused; just like what is going on,” Haley said. But while Haley was unconscious, Clover swung into action like a furry first responder. Security footage showed the dog darting into the road to stop Dryden Oatway, a passing driver.

“It was really impressive, the dog actually blocked my way. She kind of backed into the road to block my truck,” Oatway said. “The whole time she was backing down the street she had eyes on [Haley], didn’t look away from her. She kept her distance from me but made sure her owner was okay and that was amazing.”

She basically put her life on the line for her girl,” Oatway said.

Not content with just one helper, Clover recruited another neighbor, Danielle Pilon, who spotted the commotion. “You could tell she didn’t want to leave her even when we were with her but I think it just came to her that she was like ‘I need to go home to let them know she needs help,’” Pilon said.

The clever pup then raced to Haley’s house, barking urgently to alert her parents. Haley’s father, Randall Moore, described the moment: “The neighbors were frantic when they knocked on my door and Clover was barking like crazy.”

By the time the family reached Haley, paramedics were already tending to her. “To see my daughter, face full of mud and she was incoherent, wasn’t sure where she was, it was just terrifying, it really was,” Randall Moore said. Haley’s mother, Diane Moore, marveled at Clover’s bravery: “Watching Clover do what she did, making sure she was taking care of her human sister and going to the extreme … she basically put her life on the line for her girl.”

Though doctors haven’t pinpointed what caused Haley’s seizure, the family is breathing easier knowing Clover’s on duty. “If this ends up happening again, I feel 10 times safer and I know she will be there for me,” Haley said. “You know how good animals are and she’s a really amazing dog and I love her to death.”

And what does a hero dog deserve? Prime cuts, apparently. Diane Moore surprised the family — and Clover — with a special reward. “No, it’s for Clover for doing such a great job,” she told her husband, who’d mistaken the steaks for his dinner.
