Navigate Upcoming Eclipses: Set Boundaries & Reframe Your Life

August 2025 Monthly Forecast – “Discernment, Boundaries, Discipline”

Discernment, Boundaries, DisciplineLena Stevens – There is a lot going on this month. Not only do we have the support to go inward and scour out the last of the past, but we are also needing to stay present and attentive to the emerging themes that will be playing out during the upcoming eclipses.

You will need to use plenty of discernment to keep yourself on track as well as setting good boundaries against old pesky patterns and some strong discipline to carry it all through. Whether these are small refinements or more significant life choices, this is a good month for continuing on your path of positive personal evolution.

Simplicity is one of the themes that is surfacing to be contemplated. How can you simplify your life? What can you reframe, reset, let go of or reconfigure to reduce or eliminate the stress that comes with drama, complication, attachment and energy that is not yours? This is where discernment and boundaries come in.

You may get to a point in your self evaluation of truth that says, “Enough is enough”. This could be around a habit, a pattern of response to others, a relationship dynamic, too much responsibility, too much accommodating another’s set of values different from your own, and a variety of other situations you have been putting up with. This is the past you will be evaluating this month.

We have been deep in the process of observing and dealing with ancestral patterns, at times even processing them physically. This month provides an opportunity to heal and repattern what no longer supports who we truly are. Old patterns are stubborn and you will need clarity and discipline to do what it takes to prepare yourself for the future that you want.

Let talk about simplicity. What does it mean? The definition is the state of being simple, uncomplicated or uncompounded and it comes with clarity and directness. Simplifying your life is not about getting rid of what you do. It is more of a shift in how you approach life and how you do things.

If you feel a task is complicated, you are probably complicating it through overthinking, worry, anxiety, excessive hypervigilance and obsessive tracking. The fear of failure is another element that tends to lead to complication, assumption and expectation.  To simplify, you have to have the courage to trust the process to unfold perfectly if it is the right action.

Simplifying your life may mean that you have to take something off your plate that is not important or of value. Perhaps it is connected to an old habit or something that you could delegate to someone else or simply to eliminate if it does not serve you.

We have spoken many times of the need to declutter ourselves as a culture of all that we have accumulated, not only in the physical realm, but the emotional, mental and energetic fields as well. How much shame do some of us still carry? How much disappointment, resentment, unprocessed emotions, mental opinions, unfinished business, regrets, identities, old dreams and longings are still in our field? This is all clutter that leads to complication, stress, confusion, despair and a feeling of powerlessness.

This is a very tall order but we must drop the fear, disengage from the clutter, and begin to trust in our own medicine and ability to create the right next step. It is crucial that we get our ducks in a row prior to the next eclipse season in order to take advantage of the amazing opportunities coming our way.

If you are only focused on what has you worried, anxious and fearful instead of what is new, exciting and inspires you, you will miss out on the opportunities available for growth and expansion into more love, abundance and creativity. It takes discipline to stay positive. It takes discernment to see through the illusion and to say no when appropriate. And, setting good boundaries around what you know you need at this time as you simplify is essential to your well-being this month.
