Rubio Begins State Department Overhaul to Align With ‘America First’ Policy

Cole Harrison – In Washington, some things seem to grow forever, no matter who is in charge. The permanent political class, a deep swamp of bureaucrats, gets bigger and bigger. It feeds on taxpayer dollars while becoming less and less accountable to the very people it is supposed to serve.

Every election, voters hear promises to take a weed-whacker to this jungle of red tape. Candidates pledge to slash wasteful spending and make government lean.
