The Power of Information: Why What You Don’t See Shapes Your Life
Sonia Barrett – Yes, I strive to dig deeply into the construct of reality and the manner in which our mind and experiences are networked into the design. Most people have never been shown that what we call “information” is not passive, it carries an electrical component that interacts directly with the nervous system.
Every thought, every perception, every decision is influenced by how your system receives and processes these signals. The brain is constantly translating incoming data into patterns of electrical activity, and those patterns shape what you notice, what you ignore, and ultimately the choices you make.
What we often interpret as intuition, stress, clarity, or confusion is deeply tied to this processing capacity. And while this (cognitive sovereignty) may be viewed as unimportant to some or simply insignificant, it is continuously influencing both our struggles and our flow in life.
It is quite remarkable to consider that much of what we experience as difficulty is rooted in a lack of understanding of how information is actually being processed.
Cognitive Sovereignty is about recognizing that you are not simply reacting to life, but to how your system is converting information into meaning. There are profound degrees of information available: cosmological, environmental, and experiential, that most people never access, not because they are unavailable, but because they fall outside of what the nervous system is prepared to process.
As your awareness of this electrical and interpretive process deepens, so does your ability to perceive more, respond differently, and engage life with greater precision. This is where choice becomes more intentional, where decision-making becomes less reactive, and where you begin to access subtler layers of information that can fundamentally shift how you experience real
