Lorna Bevan – At the Buddha’s Scorpio Full Moon on May 12th everything feels significant, heavy yet fragile. Think of it as a metaphorical stand-off as our Lights -the Sun and Moon- face each other across two polarized fixed signs mirrored by tense military stand offs in global hotspots.
Notice how the Full Moon aspects form a Righteousness Rectangle to the karmic Nodes of Fate, suggesting a simplistic dualistic world outlook, a tendency to think in black-and-white terms and an absolutist “either/or attitude” provoking arguments and conflicts. Amping up the volatility, the Sun in Taurus is conjunct caput Algol and unpredictable Uranus trine Pluto and sextile Neptune on the Aries Point.
The Mars ruled Aries Point -the hair trigger sensitive world axis-is being activated by Lord of Karma Saturn from the Master degrees of Pisces and by Neptune at 1 Aries – the primitive drums of war are beating loud and clear.
Dispelling Old Ghosts
Much as we prefer to think of ourselves as rational beings, we are all unconsciously influenced by the presence of invisible forms-the ghosts of ancestral and parental influences and complexes.
Now the plutonic Full Moon Scorpio shines the light of Truth revealing the big picture so that a way between the lines of duality can be seen and negotiated.
