Teach a Man to Fish

No, I don’t eat fish, and yes, this analogy applies to women and children as well as men. I mention it today because so many people have lately requested I “just heal them” of whatever physical, mental, emotional or spiritual pains trouble them. I keep having to say, “No, I will not do the work for you, but I will teach you how to heal yourself. The energies of this time do not support a complete outsourcing of self-healing or any other responsibility. Yes, in most cases, I can help, but that comes through educating people about how their own energy system, karma, and self-talk work so that they know how to shift themselves into the positive feelings they’d prefer.”
Some people appreciate this, while others feel angry that I’m withholding what I “could” give them. The truth is that I love and honor them enough to offer much more than just a quick fix. The challenges of our times (both individual and collective) all stem from people outsourcing their own responsibility, which ultimately results in feeling “stuck” or “trapped” by circumstances “outside” their control.
When we abdicate personal responsibility, we also give away our freedom and power. In order to reclaim freedom and power, we must accept the responsibility that goes along with them. Yes, we can ask for help, but we should be wary of those who offer or claim to do everything for us, because real healing and empowerment come from within. Giving responsibility for our own well-being to another person, corporation, doctor, government, religion, or the economy makes us vulnerable to their whims, flaws, limitations and control. How can we know they truly have our best interests in mind? What choices do they leave us for opting out if we don’t like this feeling of dependence? What if we learn, mid-stream, that they not only can’t live up to their promises to save us, but never intended to do so in the first place?
Suddenly, the free ride doesn’t seem so free. Whatever its form, true healing comes with a price. In most cases, that price means throwing off the illusions that got us sick, ill, in debt or trapped. Some of these illusions run deep, and we may not want to let them go; however, we will only heal to the degree we manage to surrender the illusions. We can’t fake this casting off process to our deepest selves. If we haven’t finished, then the same issue(s) will continue to appear until we clear away the root distortions and lies. I see these patterns in clients and myself regarding past life issues, limiting beliefs and the blame game. Understanding our process makes letting go much easier. It might seem to take longer to learn how and why we engage in certain patterns, but ultimately, consciousness is more efficient than playing whack-a-mole with the next symptom, drama or disappointment.

Even as the United Nations prepares to massively expand its “sustainable development” agenda at the upcoming sustainability summit in Rio de Janeiro, lawmakers in Tennessee approved a joint resolution blasting the global body’s controversial Agenda 21 — adopted at the 1992 Earth Summit — as an “insidious” socialist plot. All across America, opposition to the UN schemes is building quickly.
The popular measure (HJR 587) in Tennessee was passed by a bipartisan 72-to-23 landslide in the state House of Representatives last month. And on Tuesday, it was overwhelmingly approved in the Senate with 19 in favor and 11 against.
A broad coalition of activists from across the political spectrum came together to support the resolution, urging lawmakers to stand firm in the face of attacks to protect the people of Tennessee. And the efforts paid off: Supporters celebrated its passage Wednesday as another small victory for liberty, private-property rights, and national sovereignty.
Despite being non-binding, analysts said legislators in Tennessee sent a powerful message by recognizing the “destructive and insidious nature” of the controversial UN scheme. The resolution, among other points, urges the public and policymakers to reject Agenda 21, which it describes as “a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering, and global political control.”
Echoing a similar measure adopted earlier this year by the Republican National Committee (RNC), the resolution approved in Tennessee cites the UN’s own documents to expose the global plan. Agenda 21 policy describes “social justice,” for example, as “the right and opportunity of all people to benefit equally from the resources afforded us by society and the environment,” lawmakers observed.

Imagine that someone gives you a mystery novel with an entire page ripped out.
And let’s suppose someone else comes up with a computer program that reconstructs the missing page, by assembling sentences and paragraphs lifted from other places in the book.
Imagine that this computer program does such a beautiful job that most people can’t tell the page was ever missing.
DNA does that.
In the 1940′s, the eminent scientist Barbara McClintock damaged parts of the DNA in corn maize. To her amazement, the plants could reconstruct the damaged section. They did so by copying other parts of the DNA strand, then pasting them into the damaged area.
This discovery was so radical at the time, hardly anyone believed her reports. (40 years later she won the Nobel Prize for this work.)
And we still wonder: How does a tiny cell possibly know how to do…. that???
A French HIV researcher and computer scientist has now found part of the answer. Hint: The instructions in DNA are not only linguistic, they’re beautifully mathematical. There is an Evolutionary Matrix that governs the structure of DNA.
Computers use something called a “checksum” to detect data errors. It turns out DNA uses checksums too. But DNA’s checksum is not only able to detect missing data; sometimes it can even calculate what’s missing. Here’s how it works.
In English, the letter E appears 12.7% of the time. The letter Z appears 0.7% of the time. The other letters fall somewhere in between. So it’s possible to detect data errors in English just by counting letters.
In DNA, some letters also appear a lot more often (like E in English) and some much less often. But… unlike English, how often each letters appears in DNA is controlled by an exact mathematical formula that is hidden within the genetic code table.
When cells replicate, they count the total number of letters in the DNA strand of the daughter cell. If the letter counts don’t match certain exact ratios, the cell knows that an error has been made. So it abandons the operation and kills the new cell.
Failure of this checksum mechanism causes birth defects and cancer.
Dr. Jean-Claude Perez started counting letters in DNA. He discovered that these ratios are highly mathematical and based on “Phi”, the Golden Ratio 1.618. This is a very special number, sort of like Pi. Perez’ discovery was published in the scientific journal Interdisciplinary Sciences / Computational Life Sciences in September 2010.

Before I tell you about it, allow me to explain just a little bit about the genetic code.
DNA has four symbols, T, C, A and G. These symbols are grouped into letters made from combinations of 3 symbols, called triplets. There are 4x4x4=64 possible combinations.
