Doug Bock Clark – Every morning, Kim Casipongstrolls past barbed wire, six dogs, and a watchman in order to get to her job in a pink apartment building decorated with ornate stonework in Lapu-Lapu City. The building towers above the slums surrounding it—houses made of scrap wood with muddy goat pens in place of yards. She is a pretty, milk-skinned, 17-year-old girl who loves the movie Frozen and whose favorite pastime is singing karaoke. She is on her way to do her part in bringing down Facebook.

Casipong huffs to the third floor of the apartment building, opens a door decorated with a crucifix, and greets her co-workers. The curtains are drawn, and the artificial moonlight of computer screens illuminates the room. Eight workers sit in two rows, their tools arranged on their desks: a computer, a minaret of cell phone SIM cards, and an old cell phone. Tens of thousands of additional SIM cards are taped into bricks and stored under chairs, on top of computers, and in old instant noodle boxes around the room.

Richard Braggs, Casipong’s boss, sits at a desk positioned behind his employees, occasionally glancing up from his double monitor to survey their screens. Even in the gloom, he wears Ray-Ban sunglasses to shield his eyes from the glare of his computer. (“Richard Braggs” is the alias he uses for business purposes; he uses a number of pseudonyms for various online activities.)

Casipong inserts earbuds, queues up dance music—Paramore and Avicii—and checks her client’s instructions. Their specifications are often quite pointed. A São Paulo gym might request 75 female Brazilian fitness fanatics, or a Castro-district bar might want 1,000 gay men living in San Francisco. Her current order is the most common: Facebook profiles of beautiful American women between the ages of 20 and 30. Once they’ve received the accounts, the client will probably use them to sell Facebook likes to customers looking for an illicit social media boost. Continue reading

Understanding and Overcoming Food Addiction

Dawn Walton – It’s getting late. You’ve had a long stressful day at work and you are sitting flicking through the TV channels. You are bored. You go to the kitchen and grab the big bag of snacks you bought earlier. You figure you’ll just eat a few and save the rest. Pretty soon you are scrabbling around for crumbs at the bottom of the packet. You feel a bit sick. You go back through to the kitchen and grab some chocolate. You tell yourself you shouldn’t but you do it anyway. It makes you feel better. It makes you feel less stressed.

subconsciousLater you beat yourself up. Why didn’t you just grab something healthy? Why didn’t you stop when you’d had enough?

You tell yourself you are only eating because you are bored. You decide that tomorrow you will find something else to do so you don’t get bored.

Tomorrow comes. You haven’t found something else to do. You switch the TV on. You go and fetch a bag of snacks. You’ll find that thing tomorrow. Tonight you are too tired.

Night after night you repeat the same behaviour.

You try diets and they kind of work, for a while, but then it gets too much like hard work and you have a day off. Then a few days. And somehow you can’t motivate yourself to start again.

You feel like you have no willpower. What is wrong with you? All these other people seem to be able to eat whatever they want and they’re skinny. Life isn’t fair.

Treason Is Not Patriotic

Sartre (originally published June 2005) – The Patriot Act is pure treason. What don’t you understand about the meaning of treason? The entire purpose for the creation of America is based upon defeating despotism, limiting government on all levels and advancing liberty for individuals. The State is an unfortunate reality, it needs to be feared and controlled. Patriotic protection of oppressive government is a sickness. Love of country means that citizens must oppose tyrannical government. What is so difficult in understanding the difference between jingoism and traditional civil liberties? There is nothing conservative about waving the bloody flag for a political structure bent upon destroying individual rights.

Preserving the American way of life?

A mêlée of deceit is called a War on Terror, but actually is a War Of Terror. It is waged upon our own citizens, neighbors and families. The fraud called the Patriot Act is an immeasurable disgrace and a lethal betrayal. The Stamp Act was mild in comparison. But in our era “girlie men” serfs paying homage to the federal tyrant is what passes for good citizenship. Most Americans are fools and deserve contempt for their fervor in obeying an illegitimate regime. Make no mistake, partisan politics is a scam, the entire ruling class are co-conspirators in treason.

Sedition against this band of anti-Americans is the test of true Patriotism. The Patriot Act is designed to intimidate, suppress and punish citizens who threaten this organized criminal cabal, called elected representatives. The multicultural approach towards purifying civic submission under the pain of criminality deserves a concerted effort of national civil disobedience. The real enemy lives among us, makes destructive government policy and enforces malevolent laws. Government is accountable to the people. Citizens must never endure self-induced slavery as the price of supporting political leaders. The risk of indictment is preferable to an existence of delusion. It is better to understand the real enemy and be marked as a rebel than suspend all rational awareness and buy into the big lie. Continue reading

Ben Fulford (Apr 20 2015) – US Corporate Government Goes Bankrupt On April 17th, Refuses To Acknowledge [Full Post]

The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CORPORATION based in the Washington D.C. extra-territorial enclave inside the Republic of the United States of America failed to make a payment on March 31st and was given until April 17th to come up with the goods but was unable to, according to Chinese government and CIA sources. For that reason the US corporate government has gone bankrupt, the sources say. However, the folk in Washington do not plan to go quietly and are still fighting to survive.

worldThis can be confirmed in the corporate propaganda and government news wires around the world in reports about the Washington IMF/World Bank meetings that ran from April 16-18. The news reports to the general public do not mention the word bankruptcy but rather say things like 19 out of the 20 so-called G20 countries are angry that the US will not give up its veto over the World Bank and IMF. In other words the US government has been publicly repudiated by leaders of 19 out of the 20 top economies.

The current US situation reminds of an old joke my mother told me about a woman watching a military parade and shouting proudly “look my son is the only one marching in step.”

Underneath the surface too, there is a lot of spy movie type subterfuge going on involving high denomination bonds, identity theft, murder and secret negotiations as various players jockey for position in the emerging new financial system.

A new set of meetings between the White Dragon Society and Chinese communist government representatives last week ended with a basic agreement that China was to get a 20% voting share in the new system and that China would not be seeking world hegemony. There was a lot of other stuff discussed that cannot yet be made public for security reasons but involve a plan to seriously help the vast majority of humanity. Continue reading
