Fear Unceasing or Life Abundant?

blue moonSarah Varcas – The full moon on 24th July 2021 is the first of two full moons in Aquarius making the second (22nd August) an auspicious blue moon. The period beginning with this first full moon and ending with the blue moon offers everyone an opportunity for a mental ‘spring-clean’, clearing the mind of unnecessary mental clutter that prevents clear-seeing and wise discernment (you can read more about how to harness the energy of a blue moon cycle here).

An Aquarian full moon wants to analyze, deconstruct and understand, whilst simultaneously developing its own unique perspective on how life unfolds and what the future could bring if we prime it to do so.

A Blue Moon Cycle Begins This Week

blue moonThis week’s full moon in Libra on 21st March UT begins a cycle which culminates in a blue moon (also in Libra) on 19th April.

An astrological blue moon is the second full moon in a solar month. It’s a fairly rare phenomenon, the last one occurring in June 2016. A blue moon acts like a full moon amplified, with energy building throughout the month between the first full moon and the second. Consequently this month is a good time to do what’s needed to bring things to fruition. If we use the energy of a blue moon cycle to our advantage we can achieve great things with it. Like a full moon on steroids it will deliver potent results, so it’s up to us to be sure the efforts we make will deliver the results we want! Continue reading

Self Love and Self Healing

Self LoveDjwhal Khul here. Tashi Delek.

Alright. This week we have the Sun moving into Aquarius. We also have another kind of bunching of planets and some strong influences for both healing and for love influences.

So my suggestion for this week is Self Love and Self Healing. Give yourself a little bit of personal pampering time. Do something fun – maybe make a healthy meal, take some time for pampering your body, go get a massage, that kind of thing. So the energy is good for it. Continue reading

Full On Blue Moon

“…the rare blue dahlia like that blue moon shew’d things happen only once in…”

“So blue, the word and the condition, the color and the act, contrive to contain one another, as if the bottle of the genii were its belly, the lamp’s breath the smoke of the wraith.” —William H. Gass, from On Being Blue

blue moonKelley Hunter – A BLUE MOON (second Full Moon in one month) ends July with a double exclamation point. Venus returns to Leo, where she will dwell for over two more months, looking for fun in the Sun. Retrograde well into September, this is not a superficial quest. She will soon journey beneath the sky’s horizon, seeking deep within for authentic values, joy and true love. Stories from many cultures tell of the descent of the goddess to the underworld, there to be renewed before she rises again to the light of day.

Don’t be surprised if you have sad or melancholy moments. Scorpionic Saturn challenges Venus to look some tough stuff in the face and turn such lead into gold, to accept yourself fully for who you are and for who you are not. If in this process, you’re feeling the blues, find a window and look for the rainbows in the midst of the rain. Write some soul-rich playful poetry or sing the blues.

“In Balanced Flow where Moon Meets Sun
My StarChild Self On Purpose Runs!
Aligned, Attuned, My PlaySpace Spun
Ready am I, so Here I Come!
Playfully Brilliant in Serious Fun!”
—Mili Dillard, www.PelesPlace.com

“Song Sung Blue, everybody know one,
Song sung blue, every garden grows one…
But you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know it get to feeling good
You simply got no choice.”
—Neil Diamond, #1 song in 1972

Once hot, now cool, blue means many things to many people. What is blue for you? The color of sky or the sea? the Virgin Mary’s robes? jazz or your jeans? Continue reading
