Senate Investigation Finds “No Evidence” to Support Kavanaugh Accusations

Kavanaugh

Restore America – This week, Sen. Chuck Grassley filed a 414-page report concluding the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into the sexual misconduct claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Their findings, arrived at through interviews with more than 40 witnesses, an extensive review of social media, and evidence provided by both Kavanaugh and his accusers, were that despite all the frenzy and all the “believe women” propaganda from the Democrats, there was in reality no real reason to believe that the judge did the things he was accused of.

“Following the separate and extensive investigations by both the Committee and the FBI, there was no evidence to substantiate any of the claims of sexual assault made against Justice Kavanaugh,” Grassley wrote in a letter to Senate Republicans on Friday. Continue reading

Seedpods from the Garden of Stupid

lawClarice Feldman – Greg Gutfeld looks out on the sea of demonstrators against Brett Kavanaugh this week and characterized the display as “seedpods from the garden of stupid are blooming,” and it’s impossible not to agree.  The people who planted those seeds include more than 1,700 law professors who said Kavanaugh should be denied confirmation because he “displayed a lack of judicial temperament” in responding to the baseless, uncorroborated charges by Christine Blasey Ford of sexual misconduct.

Reviewing this campus insanity, Heather Mac Donald contends – with ample basis:

The Kavanaugh hysteria has provided the country with a crash course in academic victim politics.  The tribal denunciations of “privileged white males,” the moral panic over fantastical accounts of sexual predation, the spectacle of Ivy League law students claiming to feel “unsafe,” the assertion that a single uncorroborated outbreak of male teen hormones should cancel a lifetime of achievement in the law – all originate in the anti-Enlightenment ethos of the academy, embodied in critical race studies, feminist legal theory, and the attacks on the Socratic teaching method as anti-female and anti-“survivor.”  Continue reading

Ford’s FBI Friend, Monica McLean, Pressured Witness To Modify Testimony and Statement…

Sundance – If you thought it was sketchy that Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford’s life-long best friend was a recently retired FBI agent and DOJ official, Monica McLean {Go Deep}; and if you thought it was sketchy that McLean and Ford were together on July 30th when Ford was writing a  letter to Dianne Feinstein, likely making the friend Ms Ford’s “handler” for the operation against Kavanaugh; then it’s even more sketchy today with a report that McLean was pressuring witness Leland Keyser to shape her statements and testimony to the FBI.

According to the Wall Street Journal the FBI has text messages from Ms. McLean to witness Ms. Keyser, directing her to modify statements more favorable to Ms. Ford.

WASHINGTON – A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators that she felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.

Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said. Should Professor Ford Be Applauded or Prosecuted?

fordEd Brodow – Feminists have jumped on the Kavanaugh confirmation bandwagon in order to advocate the conviction of all men for the sexual assaults committed by a few men.  Senators Feinstein, Harris, and Hirono “are saying because women have been assaulted, you can’t vote for any man who has been accused,” explains author and TV commentator Bill O’Reilly.  “So therefore anybody can raise an accusation to disqualify anyone from an appointed position or even running for office.”  That is the very definition of a witch hunt.

Is it important whether accusations of men by women are truthful?  It doesn’t matter, says Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii.  “Not only do women like Dr. Ford, who bravely comes forward, need to be heard,” says Hirono, “but they need to be believed.”  Hirono expects all of the “enlightened men in our country” to rise up and say, “We cannot continue the victimization and the smearing of someone like Dr. Ford.”  Poor, poor Dr. Ford.

Poor, poor United States of America when due process and respect for the truth go flying out the window.
