Petty was writing about the death of real American radio. However, the celebration of mediocrity is inherent in the gaping holes in our current popular and political culture.
Never have so many been lauded for accomplishing so little. Never before have the most selfish felt themselves to be the most entitled, whether it be for money, fame or power. Susan Stanton – Over the past decade or more, we have been listening to blowhard elites who ballyhoo and bellow over various political topics while demonstrating abject disrespect for the majority of Americans. Lately, it’s become fashionable to resist immigration laws, support late-term or after-birth abortion (murder), and champion victim hoaxes while staging attempted coups against our president. Insanity reigns.
Greg Hunter – Legendary geopolitical and financial analyst Martin Armstrong continues to be bullish on America. Armstrong contends, “The U.S. economy has been the only thing holding up the world. People do not realize what is the difference between the U.S. vs. the rest of the world? China respects it, and they are starting to move in the proper direction. . . . The United States has the biggest consumer market, which is why everybody wants to sell here. China now realizes the mistake. China is going to turn inward and try and develop its own consumer market.”
Mark Patricks – A couple of weeks ago we would have given optimistic 51/49 odds that President Trump is getting the wall built. The media, the Democrats and Congress still haven’t figured out that for those of us on America’s side, it’s really not about Trump. If Trump fails to deliver on the wall, that will be really sad… because next time we will elect Hitler if that’s what it takes to save our country from the foreign invading hordes.
