Rep. Donalds Calls Out CNN For Attacking Black Republicans

DonaldsConservative Research Group – Rep. Byron Donalds, a black GOP lawmaker in the House of Representatives, recently shared that he has been declined by the Congressional Black Caucus as a member. He said he was disappointed in the Congressional Black Caucus for claiming to ensure that Black Americans have the opportunity to achieve the American dream while being excluded from their group. The CBC had inducted other freshman lawmakers into the group nearly six months ago. There are currently no Republican members of the CBC.

“As a newly elected Black Member of Congress, my political party should not exempt me from a seat at the table dedicated to achieving this goal. As a young Black man who grew up in the inner city of Brooklyn in a single-parent household, my achieving of the American Dream would be a valued addition to the CBC and one that should transcend politics,” Rep.
