Yellow Vests Reject Macron’s ‘Rubbish’ Olive Branch – Take To The Streets For 24th Consecutive Week

Niamh Harris – The Yellow Vests have taken to the streets in Paris and other French cities for the 24th straight weekend despite Emmanuel Macron ‘s attempts to placate the protest movement with promises of lower taxes.

Dismissing the French President’s speech on Thursday, the activists called for the demonstrations to continue on Saturday.

RT reports: The demonstrators who assembled in Paris, Toulouse and Strasbourg on Saturday appear to signal that despite the French president’s recent concessions to the group, the Yellow Vest movement is alive and well.

Macron to Deploy French Army to ‘Defeat’ Yellow Vest Revolution

armySean Adl-Tabatabai – French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing to deploy the army to the streets of Paris in an attempt to thwart the revolutionary Yellow Vest protests.

Following Wednesday’s meeting of the council of ministers, Macron’s government announced they would activate army units during this weekend’s Yellow Vest protests.

Wsws.org reports: This is the first time since the 1954–1962 war in Algeria that the army is to be mobilized in police operations on French soil against the population.

Griveaux announced that the operation would have the task of “securing fixed and static points in conformity with their mission, that is to say principally the protection of official buildings.” He justified his recourse to the armed forces by claiming this was necessary to allow the police forces to “concentrate on protest movements and on the maintenance and re-establishment of public order.” Continue reading

French Generals Accuse Macron Of “Treason” Over UN Migration Pact

Emmanuel MacronSean Adl-Tabatabai –  A group of top French military generals have accused Emmanuel Macron of committing “treason” by signing the UN migration pact.

The pact, which was signed by 164 nations on Monday, including France, allows for unlimited migration and labels the criticism of mass migration as “hate speech.”

Infowars.com reports: A letter written by General Antoine Martinez and signed by ten other generals, an admiral and a colonel, as well as former French Minister of Defense Charles Millon, warns Macron that the move strips France of more sovereignty and provides an additional reason for “an already battered people” to “revolt”. The Élysée Palace, seat of President Emmanuel Macron, announced to French media they are expecting “great violence” on Saturday as Yellow Vest protestors have announced “Act IV” of their nearly four-week-long protest against the Macron regime that was initially sparked by a rise in fuel taxes, franceinfo reports.

French Revolution: ‘State Of Emergency’ As Citizens Reject Globalism

Sean Adl-Tabatabai – French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing to declare of state of emergency as citizens reject globalism in an historic wave of protests.

According to government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux, a state of emergency may be imposed to try and thwart the revolution after hundreds of thousands of masked “Yellow Vest” protestors clashed with police, in some of the worst protests France has seen since 1968.

Griveaux had indicated the Macron administration was considering imposing a state of emergency. The president was open to dialogue, he said, but would not reverse policy reforms.

“We won’t change course. We are certain of that,” he told Europe 1 radio. –Reuters

Zerohedge.com reports: On Saturday riot police were overwhelmed as protesters embarked on their destructive crime spree. Macron, meanwhile, denied that a state of emergency had been disccussed.
