Thyroid Disease Linked to Iodine Deficiency and Fluoridated Water

More than 66 percent of the U.S. population drinks water with added fluoride,[1] despite the fact that studies continue to question its safety and usefulness for its stated purpose: preventing cavities. A number of countries — including Germany, Sweden, Japan, the Netherlands, Finland and Israel — have already stopped this hazardous practice, but many Americans are still at risk.

In Canada, nearly 39 percent of the population also receives fluoridated drinking water (compared with only about 3 percent of Europeans).[2] It’s been known for years that fluoridated water consumption is linked to thyroid dysfunction and behavioral problems like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and two new studies have added to the already apparent associations.

Sean Adl-Tabatabai – An historic lawsuit looks set to end water fluoridation across the United States once and for all, as a federal court has given the go-ahead for citizens to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency.

waterFood and Water Watch Inc. filed a lawsuit against the agency after the EPA rejected a citizens petition calling on them to ban the process of adding fluoride to drinking water.

Natlawreview.com reports: In its decision, the court denied the EPA’s motion for a protective order by rejecting the argument that courts should be limited to reviewing information originally presented in the administrative proceeding giving rise to the suit. Continue reading →

Fluoride Literally Turns the Pineal Gland to Stone, Research Suggests

The Discovery

Research published in 2001 showed that fluoride (F) deposits in the pineal gland with age and is associated with enhanced gland calcification. Eleven aged cadavares were dissected and their pineal glands assayed:
