For several months, crowds ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands have been taking to the streets every weekend across the whole of France. They have had enormous success, extracting major concessions from the government. They continue to march.

working classBack in 2014, geographer Christopher Guilluy’s study of la France périphérique (peripheral France) caused a media sensation. It drew attention to the economic, cultural and political exclusion of the working classes, most of whom now live outside the major cities. It highlighted the conditions that would later give rise to the yellow-vest phenomenon. Guilluy has developed on these themes in his recent books, No Society and The Twilight of the Elite: Prosperity, the Periphery and the Future of Francespiked caught up with Guilluy to get his view on the causes and consequences of the yellow-vest movement.

French Generals Accuse Macron Of “Treason” Over UN Migration Pact

Emmanuel MacronSean Adl-Tabatabai –  A group of top French military generals have accused Emmanuel Macron of committing “treason” by signing the UN migration pact.

The pact, which was signed by 164 nations on Monday, including France, allows for unlimited migration and labels the criticism of mass migration as “hate speech.”

Infowars.com reports: A letter written by General Antoine Martinez and signed by ten other generals, an admiral and a colonel, as well as former French Minister of Defense Charles Millon, warns Macron that the move strips France of more sovereignty and provides an additional reason for “an already battered people” to “revolt”. EU Army Deployed To Paris To Crush French Revolution

EU ArmySean Adl-Tabatabai – The EU army has been deployed to the streets of Paris in an attempt to crush the historic French revolution currently sweeping across France.

Armoured European Union military vehicles were filmed storming Paris on Saturday, as hundreds of thousands of protestors continue to protest globalism.

80% Of French Citizens Reject Macron’s Immigration Policy

migrationSean Adl-Tabatabai – Around 80 per cent of French citizens believe Macron’s relaxed immigration policy is destroying France and leading to poorer work conditions, according to a new opinion poll conducted by Ifop.

53 per cent of French men and women believe that France welcomes “far too many foreigners.” A further 27 per cent believe that France welcomes “enough,” meaning that a total of 79 per cent of French citizens believe France should halt their immigration program.

Voiceofeurope.com reports: The poll, which was published in the weekly Journal du Dimanche, also revealed that 64 per cent of respondents agreed with the statement: “our country already has many foreigners and welcoming additional immigrants would be undesirable.” Continue reading
