A Very Unsettling Thanksgiving

thanksgiving 2020Clarice Feldman – For the first time in recent memory we will be unable to visit our son and his family in Hawaii for Thanksgiving. The quarantine requirements have been lifted if we take and get a negative result on a COVID test. (Something like 90% of the positive results on such tests are false positives.)

But it’s a very long flight during which we’d have to be masked in flight and at the airports and it’s more than we can endure. (Even if we assumed the masks were efficacious, which I don’t think they are — indeed, I think they are counterproductive — we find them physically uncomfortable.) Continue reading

Federal Judge Allows Clinton Foundation Whistleblower Complaint To Proceed

clinton foundationJim Hayek – A US tax court judge is allowing a whistleblower complaint to proceed against the Clinton Foundation after finding that the IRS “abused its discretion” when it attempted to dismiss allegations of wrongdoing by the nonprofit, according to Just The News.

Judge David Gustafson found that whistleblower John Moynihan – a former Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) official, and Larry Doyle, a corporate tax compliance expert “provided ‘specific credible documentation’ supporting their allegations” of potential legal violations by the Arkansas-based charity. James Comey and Robert Mueller have Massive Clinton Foundation Problems

Clinton FoundationCharles Ortel – James Comey is not an effective liar. He fooled only the gullible last week with his evasive testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.  Previously, Robert Mueller was also not effective deterring the Trump Administration from uncovering significant, far-reaching crimes that the former F.B.I. Director “missed” from September 2001 through September 2013.

For almost 18 years, Comey and Mueller have been covering for powerful Republicans and Democrats, letting serious crimes go unpunished. Many of these involved fake charities that operate internationally, including the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

These are perfect conduits to trade donations for influence, especially for foreign governments who, in theory, are barred from investing in U.S. politicians. Continue reading

U.S. farmer commits suicide after committing massive organic fraud for nearly a decade

organicMike Adams – Do you trust the “organic” label to really be organic? A U.S. farmer named Randy Constant killed himself to avoid a 10-year prison sentence after being convicted of running a massive organic fraud scheme that produced millions of bushels of “organic” corn and soybeans which were sold into the U.S. marketplace.

His conviction has been called the largest organic fraud scheme in the history of America. Constant amassed a fortune of $142 million in fraudulent organic grain sales as part of the scheme which saw fake organic grains fed to meat livestock to produce so-called “organic” meat. (He essentially laundered fraudulent fake organic grains through animals to produce fake organic meat.)

This fraudulent “organic” meat was then sold to retailers all across the country who sold that meat to health-conscious consumers who falsely believed the meat was organic. The Associated Press reports: Continue reading

GE Fraud Bigger Than Enron

fraudStephen Lendman – Enron Online became the first Internet-based commodities transaction system.

It rescinded regulations in place since 1922. Derivative scams went wild.

Enron fleeced investors and energy purchasers with impunity until its house of cards collapsed.

Then-Fed chairman/maestro of misery Alan Greenspan endorsed derivatives — falsely calling them a way to share risks, ignoring unprecedented speculation with these instruments.

They turned the 2008-early 2009 economic downturn into a Great Depression for most households, exacerbated by neoliberal harshness.

Economic hard times continue for most US households. Maybe another sharp leg down is coming — turning America more into a nation of paupers than already, while privileged interests get richer at their expense.  Continue reading
