Brexit Update: Commons Votes Overwhelmingly To Proceed With Brexit

britainJoseph P Farrell – Well in case you haven’t heard, there’s been some grumbling of shocked defeat across the pond in the United Kingdom, where globaloneyist sore losers are trying to pull rabbits out of their increasingly threadbare hats to try to get Great Britain to remain in the European (dis)Union. In Britain they started off calling these “remainers”, which quickly became “remoaners,”  doubtless because the moaning chorus has been led by M. Jean-Claude Juncker (apparently no relation – other than common shared concepts and attitudes – to the Prussian landowners of yesteryear).

Juncker, of course, has about as much warmth and charm as a black mamba and has been moaning ever since the results of the BREXIT referendum. His latest opus of tyranny was to urge European leaders not to allow BREXIT-like referenda in their various countries, because, as he put it in between hisses, if they should do so, everyone would vote to leave the EU, leaving poor M. Juncker to slither back to whatever technocratic paradise that hatched him. Life is so very difficult, and it is so hard to be an unimaginative bureaucratic tyrant these days… moan moan moan.

You may recall that just a few weeks ago, a British court handed down a “defeat” for the BREXITers, ruling that the referendum was non-binding, and that Parliament itself would have to formally vote to invoke article 50 of the Lisbon treaty. Of course, there were discussions and debates about something called the “crown prerogative” and whether or not Mrs. May could invoke it and bypass Parliament, but this discussion, like the British constitution itself, remains obscure, located somewhere between the perukes in the Old Bailey and afternoon tea, and accessible only to the mandarins of the Inner Temple with post-graduate degrees in Advanced Jurisprudential Obscurontology (See Charles Dickens, Bleak House).

News And Views From The Nefarium – November 3, 2016 [Video]

Joseph Farrell – Well as always, the Nefarium has been up to its typical nefarious tricks this week, this time in the United Kingdom in an attempt to block or water down the BREXIT vote.

Crimes Against Peace: The Chilcot Inquiry, Tony Blair and Iraq

Britain is in political turmoil, but even prior to that, there was that old problem of why Her Majesty’s government went to war in a disastrous conflict that had no immediate, security related grounds. The reasons for invading Iraq were more ideological than scientific, more evangelical than rational.

Dr. Binoy Kampmark – One of the greater evangelists in this mission of folly was former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Britain may well have been in search of a role after empire, and here it was by way of redux, a traditional stomping ground in the Middle East. The hope was also personal. Ego, and the desperate sense of purchasing goodwill in Washington, seemed to preoccupy Blair.

The result of going into Iraq in a fit of moral outrage and strategic bravado was disastrous. Actually, it was more than disastrous. Virtually every murderous spin off in the Middle East has its provenance in the disturbances of the Coalition of the bungling willing in 2003.

That war suggested much about what was wrong with the Anglosphere, with its various satraps and misguided assumptions. The United States was charging into a bloody engagement hoping its not too questioning followers, the UK and Australia, would join in. They were right, with Blair giving a pre-determined commitment of British forces on July 28, 2002, a good deal prior to the formal Parliamentary vote on whether military intervention against Iraq was warranted.

World stunned as BREXIT achieves HUGE WIN

glutenMike Adams – This might just be the most shocking news of the decade (so far), and I only cover it here on Natural News because it has paradigm-shattering implications for economies, nations and the very future of human civilization. According to published media results so far, the BREXIT vote appears to have won a referendum victory that all of us at Natural News had hoped for (but we also thought would be rigged from the start to defeat BREXIT).

If this “leave” victory holds, it would indicate the greatest voter revolt against the global elitists the western world has ever seen. (It also gives me huge respect for UK citizens who are finally waking up and raging against the machine…) Click here to see current BREXIT results at the BBC.

A BREXIT victory would also mean that voter outrage somehow managed to overthrow the most deliberate ballot rigging fraud the UK has ever witnessed. EU elitists were so determined to do anything in their power to prevent BREXIT from winning that they arranged for the murder of a member of Parliament (Jo Cox) just to manipulate public opinion.

It almost worked, too. Support for BREXIT plummeted after the Cox murder, which was of course followed by a deliberate, nationwide media hoax which blamed the murder on pro-BREXIT forces. (It’s the same way the U.S. media blamed the Orlando terrorism event on conservatives… it’s all a farce.)

BREXIT: Cameron Announces Resignation As Brits Reject Obama’s Dire Warnings

Jonathan Turley – Prime Minister David Cameron has stated that he will step down after the historic vote yesterday for the UK voted to leave the European Union.  It is a blow for President Barack Obama who put everything on the line to push the British to stay in the EU, including seriously overplaying his hand (and role) in issuing dire warnings to the British people.  The warning backfired and only reaffirmed the feeling that there is now a world order that will not tolerate traditional democratic controls over national policies and practices.

Boris Johnson is likely to be the next prime minister and heralded the ability of Britain to now pass its own laws, set its own taxes and control its own borders.

I could see both sides of this argument.  I have long been uncomfortable with the shifting of governance powers to international organizations like the EU which are not subject to the same democratic pressures as a national government.  The proponents scored huge points by pointing out that few people could even name the top officials in the EU.
