We Have No Idea How Good We Can Get

humanPaul Rosenberg – I can still remember the first time someone told me that they believed in the Calvinist doctrine of “the depravity of man.” It shocked me. To complain about human behavior I very well understood; there’s plenty of bad behavior in the world. But to flatly call the human species depraved… hopelessly unredeemable… that was, and remains, obscene to me.

The sad truth, however, is that the modern West swims in a sea of Calvinism. The corporate bullhorns feed everyone they can a steady diet of the bad, ugly, and if possible the bloody. Under their influence, we would believe that all is darkness, that truth is illusion, that the human path is ever-downward, and that all professions of goodness are scams. Continue reading

If You Can Believe it, You Can Achieve it!

imaginationDr. Michelle Kmiec – One of my favorite quotes is, Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” (Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich)

This was proven to be true for me when I began my recovery from an autoimmune condition.

I remember years ago, though walking was extremely difficult, all I wanted to do was jog around a little lake in Minnesota. Yep, I didn’t want to just to walk, I wanted to jog! I wasn’t going to let my physical limitations get in my way of what I wanted – to regain my health and that included jogging around that lake. Even though the actual movement of jogging was not yet possible, there was something that was possible – visualization. Continue reading

The soul’s dream

imagineThe Angels – Imagine that all your problems are simply dreams from which you have to awaken. Imagine that you could wake up tomorrow morning, and before you even open your eyes, you think to yourself, “Oh wow!!! I remember I am an amazing creator! I had a dream that I forgot! How awful. How unpleasant. Thank Goodness, I remember now!”

Then, lying there in your bed you begin to consciously design your day.You think about all you wish to accomplish, and ask your angels for help. You go through a list of people you care about and imagine each one happy and healthy. You imagine your body feeling strong and healthy. And then you imagine yourself, lying here in bed at the end of the day, feeling completely satisfied, loved, and happy about your day.

Now you are ready to put your feet upon the floor and get on with life!

Healing a World Disconnected From Its Imagination

imaginationTim Bryant – As the world continues to awaken to the true nature of reality, the frequency of real truth gets stronger and stronger amongst the collective consciousness. The longer this journey goes on, the closer it gets to identifying the root causes of what’s fundamentally wrong with today’s world. While the alternative media often discusses all the things broken in the system and they ways in which the masses are controlled, we don’t often talk about how we are going to go about changing it for the betterment of humanity.

While this shouldn’t take away from the importance of identifying problems, the truth is that problem-analysis only brings about any real difference if we are willing and able to come up with tangible solutions that are then put into action. Although there are many solutions that can be discussed, it seems that one thing stands out above all else when it comes to changing the world. That solution is none other than pure imagination.

Imagination is authentic mental and physical creation. It is the manifestation of something not previously there, either by creating something new or connecting points previously disconnected. This is in direct opposition to something that is fixed or controlled, whereas the idea is already considered whole or complete, so the mind perceives that there is no more value that can be added. Whole or complete concepts cease to exist as areas in which the imagination can wonder.
