Yes, Hunter is Now in Contempt of CongressJonathan Turley – Congress is often a theater of the absurd, from Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) pulling a fire alarm before a major vote to former Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) being, well, a member of Congress at all. However, none of that compares to what unfolded on Wednesday as Hunter Biden stood outside Congress and defied a subpoena as being “beyond the absurd.” What happens next could be even more bizarre.

Hunter was under a subpoena from the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability to appear for testimony. As I previously wrote, he had two choices: He could appear and either testify or invoke his right to remain silent. The only thing that he could not do is what he did — just refuse to go into the hearing room. Yet, there he was, with counsel Abbe Lowell by his side, holding forth with a public press conference while refusing to appear in the closed-door deposition being held in the building behind him. Whistleblower Is Democrat Who Worked With Biden, Ex-CIA Chief John Brennan

Eric CiaramellaRusty – The identity of the whistleblower behind the Ukraine hoax has reportedly been revealed as CIA officer Eric Ciaramella, a registered Democrat who worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan.

Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations identified the name of the man suspected of initiating allegations against the President that have resulted in today’s impeachment proceedings.

Attorneys for the whistleblower have, naturally, declined to confirm their client’s name.

“But,” Sperry writes, “the name of a government official fitting that description — Eric Ciaramella — has been raised privately in impeachment depositions, according to officials with direct knowledge of the proceedings.” Continue reading →

Schiff’s Impeachment Train to Nowhere

Adam SchiffClarice Feldman – Like the expensive California fast train to nowhere, Schiff’s funhouse impeachment hearings are a useless waste of time and money, and subject him to well-deserved ridicule. They are certain not to prevent President Trump’s reelection in 2020 and may well cost the Democrats their majority in the House. With a pack of losing candidates and a series of “now we got him” flops ahead of them, this is a losing desperation ploy.

Get Ready For ‘It’ To Hit The Fan

trumpSusan Duclos – Many times we at ANP have warned that if we thought liberals went crazy after the election of President Trump, then became downright unhinged during the confirmation hearing for Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, just to go into a freefall of depression when special counsel Robert Mueller could not establish any “collusion” with Russia on the part of the Trump campaign of 2016, we have seen nothing that will compare to the outright insanity we will observe by crazed liberals should President Trump win reelection.
