Joseph Farrell – Well, the USA has had it with Russia in Syria, and is threatening to sit in a corner and pout, or maybe we’ll bluster and threaten. But the Russians are saying the USSA is “not agreement capable.”

NYT Reinvents Reality in Aleppo

syrianStephen Lendman – Liberating Syria from the scourge of US-supported terrorists requires winning the battle for Aleppo, a vital strategic prize.

Washington is concerned because it’s incrementally happening, Syrian forces retaking parts of the city long held by US-backed terrorists – Russian aerial support making the difference, essential to continue without letup until the entire city and surrounding areas are free from its terrorist infestation.

The campaign deserves universal support. Syria’s future depends on its success – why Washington arrogantly threatens to cease (largely nonexistent) cooperation with Russia unless it halts bombing Aleppo areas held by US-backed terrorists.

The latest edition of Times Pentagon press release propaganda misrepresented what’s going on, publishing pure rubbish no legitimate editors would touch, saying:

Russian and Syrian forces “could be massacring Aleppo’s civilians as part of a calculated strategy, aimed beyond this one city.”

“The strategy, more about politics than advancing the battle lines, appears to be designed to pressure rebels to ally themselves with extremists, eroding the rebels’ legitimacy; give Russia veto power over any high-level diplomacy; and exhaust Syrian civilians who might otherwise support the opposition.”

Fact: US-supported terrorists, along with Pentagon and so-called coalition warplanes alone massacre defenseless civilians unaccountably – The Times wrongfully blaming their high crimes on Russian and Syrian forces.

Fact: Moscow’s alliance with Damascus is unrelated to politics. It’s entirely about defeating the scourge of US-backed terrorism in Syria, preventing its spread to Russia’s heartland.

Fact: The term “rebel” is code language for US-supported terrorists. No moderates exist. All anti-government forces are cutthroat killers, imported death squads serving as imperial foot soldiers.

Will the US Ever Come Clean About Supporting ISIS? [w/ Video]

Alexandra Bruce – The First Presidential debates between the Democrat and Republican nominees went off without a hitch last night, with neither candidate utterly embarrassing themselves, to the great relief of the supporters of each. Trump didn’t say anything crazy and Hillary didn’t have a coughing jag or pass out. (Phew!) They both came off as surprisingly functional, given how both have been savagely derided and dehumanized on both sides throughout the campaign, including by yours truly.

In my opinion, neither candidate “won”, although it appeared that Hillary, in a venue located in the diehard Democrat territory of New York enjoyed a bit more support from the audience, despite Trump being the actual New Yorker on his home turf. I get the sense that the 9 points from swing voters in play, currently dedicated to Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate, Jill Stein remained as unmoved by last night’s vanilla debate as those rooting for Hillary and Trump, as if it were a football game. My guess is that to generate real movement in this campaign, somebody’s going to have to get real about ISIS – and we know that this isn’t going to come from Hillary, one of its architects.

Joseph Farrell – In the wake of the “accidental”(?) US bombing of Syrian military forces, Russia is asking tough questions, the USA is dodging answering, and the Russian military has just issued new rules of engagement for Syria, as the US Army fails to place in panzer… er, tank competitions in Germany:

What You Need To Know About Brussels, ISIS & False Flag Terrorism

Arjun Walia – As you’ve probably heard, three explosions recently hit Brussels, one at Zaventem airport and another approximately one hour later on the subway right next to the European Union headquarters. 26 people lost their lives, and many others were injured.

According to TIMEBelgian Federal Prosecutor Frederic Van Leeuw called all three explosions ‘terrorist’ attacks, and as a result Brussels has gone on complete lockdown, closing the airport, metro stations, international train services, and more; residents were told to remain at home or at their place of work for the day.

The blasts at the airport occurred at approximately 8am, and, according to Van Leeuw, it has been confirmed that one of them was carried out by a suicide bomber in the departure hall. It is believed that there were shouts in Arabic and gunshots right before the bombs exploded. Belgian Health Minister Maggie De-Block reports that 11 people were killed and 81 injured.

Here is a witness account from the airport:

I was sleeping and I was woken up by people screaming and running. I just followed the crowd. People came running down the stairs. People left their luggage and kept running. We were given no information in the terminal.

At the subway (Maelbeek) station, the blast hit at around 9:10 am, killing “about 20,” according to Brussels Mayor Yvan Mayeur, and injuring over 100 people.

Another witness offers these observations:
