Brian C. Joondeph – Media trust is at an all-time low, a majority of Americans believing that, “Most news organizations are more concerned with supporting an ideology or political position than with informing the public.” An Axios commissioned survey found that only 46 percent of Americans trusted traditional media, the lowest number ever recorded in the 20 years of this survey.
Gallup found similar distrust of the media, with only 40 percent of Americans having “a great deal” or even “a fair amount” of confidence that the media reports the news “fully accurately, and fairly”. The low point was a 32 percent level of trust in 2016 when Donald Trump was elected president and he correctly labeled the media as “fake news.”
Twenty years ago, media trust was much higher, in the mid 50 percent range, despite Dan Rather at that time, a major network news anchor, lying about George W Bush’s National Guard service.

Arjun Walia – Russell Brand recently conducted an interview with NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and released the first part of it. In the interview, Snowden mentions something that’s been true for a number of decades, and that’s the fact that some things, and in my opinion many things, that are termed a conspiracy theory are in fact true. Joe Martino – In a recent tweet from the European Commission’s Defense Industry and Space (DEFIS), they claimed they will begin to crack down on online discussion relating to Flat Earth, UFOs, and Aliens as they feel there is disinformation permeating all sectors of our society when it comes to these subjects. They intend on working with the EU Digital Services Act to put a plan in place in the coming months.

Greg Hunter – Both Democrats and Republicans are united against troop withdrawal that President Trump ordered in Syria. A meeting in the White House had Speaker Pelosi making claims of President Trump having a meltdown over the pushback he’s getting on Syria. Pelosi stormed out of the meeting, and President Trump describes Pelosi as “needs help fast.” Trump did get a ceasefire from Turkey, so Kurds in Syria could retreat.
