Sean Adl-Tabatabai – House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. Trey Gowdy has warned that arrests are likely to be made as a result of the ongoing Hillary Clinton email probe.
The announcement comes after House Republicans promised to look deeper and more thoroughly into the FBI’s mishandling of the Hillary Clinton email probe, scheduling three witnesses for June after a four month hiatus without interviews.
Westernjournal.com reports: The three witnesses include Bill Priestap, the assistant director of the FBI’s counterintelligence division; Michael Steinbach, the former head of the FBI’s national security division; and John Giacalone, who preceded Steinbach as he bureau’s top national security official.
Priestap is of particular interest because of his leadership position over the Clinton and Russia probes. Among those who served under him was counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, who reportedly was on hand when the bureau interviewed both Clinton and Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser.
