The Lessons of Savannah and BLM

Lessons of Savannah and BLMFrank Hawkins – A few years ago, a young Florida relative of mine went off to a prestigious northeastern college as a pre-med student. As a good athlete, she joined one of the girls’ sports teams and was a starter on the varsity squad as a freshman.

The team was a mixed group of black and white students who had come from all over the U.S. As the girls met for the first time, my relative was accosted by a black teammate from Brooklyn who, discovering she was from Florida, said to her face, “You’re a racist.” In other words, if you were from Florida (or the South) you must be a racist. The New Racial Hatred

NPR attacks Tucker Carlson as "racist"D.F. Mulder –  America has truly reached Soviet levels of mass delusion and absurdity. The official lines on the most important subjects of the day are not just inconsistent with reality, they are the complete inversion of it.

Last week, NPR published an article titled, “Has Tucker Carlson created the most racist show in the history of cable news?” The article is not your everyday propaganda piece; it is almost humorous in its mendacity.

Tucker Carlson diligently avoids anything that can be interpreted as “racist.” He repeatedly denounces racism on his show and repeatedly affirms that he judges individuals as individuals, by their character and its content, and not by their skin color or their membership in any particular demographic group. Hating the West

anti white racismW R Wordsworth – Douglas Murray’s The War on the West chronicles the gradual emergence and sudden rise to dominance of the pseudo-intellectual anti-white racism that now saturates our culture. No longer confined to the fringes, this bigotry has been lent considerable credibility as it mounts a broad-based attack on virtually every aspect of the Western heritage.

Western culture — in spite of its eradication of slavery and its vastly expanded panoply of individual rights — stands condemned as thoroughly and irredeemably racist.

Murray does the reader a service in reluctantly assuming the burden of presenting this phenomenon in all its excruciating ugliness and blinkered stupidity. He also draws out its troubling implications and threatening trajectory. Continue reading

Idiots of High Culture

Cancel cultureJacob Fraden – I recently saw this headline on a Classical Music website: “Cardiff Philharmonic removes Tchaikovsky from programme in light of Russian invasion of Ukraine.”  Oh, poor Pyotr Ilyich, he has been dead for
almost 130 years, but he turns out to be guilty of the Russian fascism of the 21st century. He was hit by the Russian aggression as if by a ricocheting bullet.

A wave of hatred for Russian culture has rolled over the planet like a tsunami.  All over the world, cultural idiots are removing from their programs works by the great composers Shostakovich, Prokofiev, and Rachmaninoff and canceling performances by musicians, singers, and dancers who had the misfortune to come from the USSR or Russia. The ‘Spirit-Murdering’ CRT Agenda

Jeff M. Lewis – It is encouraging to see that at least some of the broader culture’s acceptance of Critical Race Theory (CRT) is waning, but we can be assured the zeal among CRT’s adherents will not wane. Therefore, we must mimic the radical left’s tactics and keep the pressure on, to reveal the whole vacuous pack of lies. Understanding CRT’s effects on people and reading what a rising CRT star—Bettina Love—wants to do to America’s Black students, help expose those lies.

The Democrat party’s radical left is a soul-crushing autocracy. Their ideologies do not empower anyone to pursue happiness or to succeed and are not what America’s youth need to be taught about our country or how to live and thrive in the greatest nation on earth. Leftists everywhere demand allegiance and compliance, and dissent cannot be tolerated, because a close examination of their doctrines exposes them as morally bankrupt and utterly insufficient.
