The Exit Window-My Experience With Group Consciousness

The Angel Diaries | August 1 2012

EarthThe whole idea of collective consciousness is a fascinating, and sometimes foreign concept to most of us living behind the Veil of Forgetfulness. Despite my ability to remember a good many things, the concept of being telepathically connected to all beings in the entire Universecontinues to elude me. What about you? Can you truly imagine how it felt to be connected to everyone in every way, back before this incarnation? I don’t know about you, but I consider myself to somewhat on top of things (at least the things pertaining to my own survival here in 3D paradise), but I must say that I can’t remember how this feels at all. I understand the mechanics of it and the many benefits, but my memory of all the accompanying emotions and joys of being One are still buried far back behind the wall.

Here on Earth, we still have the opportunity to participate in group-consciousness experiences, even if we are not actually aware that it’s happening. When we make the decision to incarnate, we factor into our contracts agreements with other incarnating souls, promising to participate with them in selected group events and interpersonal relationships. We also add into our life plan several “exit-windows.” These are departure points strategically placed at specific intervals throughout your lifetime, in order to allow you to depart or stay, based on your current state of mind or situation. For the most part, you would not be aware of whether you’ve chosen to bypass one of these windows. It is normally during dreamtime or deep states of meditation that your higher consciousness is consulted and makes this choice. But now, with the raising of our vibration and the breakdown of the illusion, more and more of us are become aware of certain synchronicities and odd occurrences that we’re at a loss to explain. Something happens and you have a funny vibe about it. Instead of attributing the survival of a life-threatening experience to good luck or a close call, you are intuitively aware of it being something more.

The direction of a collective mindset can change course in a heartbeat. Small or large, the size of the group doesn’t matter at all. Everyone incarnated on Earth right now chose to be here at this amazing time. We all made that decision together. For many of us, our contracts will intersect and intertwine at some point. We will come together as one group mind, and in a mere millisecond, decide our fate. Here is my own story of just such an experience.

The Southern Caribbean. Somewhere off the coast of Guadeloupe.

It had been a picture-perfect day aboard the Serenade Of The Seas. We had left St Lucia the previous evening, and this was Day 7, a Sea Day, the end of our perfect cruise vacation. From the moment we boarded the ship in San Juan, our trip had been flawless. Calm turquoise seas, beautiful ports of call, fabulous food, snorkling, hiking and shopping. The Serenade was a brand new ship, and this was only her second voyage. She was lavishly appointed and beautiful. I had chosen to take the kids (my son and his stepsister) out of school for a week and home-school them at varying locations around the ship-such as the library, the pooldeck, the sushi bar… We loved to change it up every day and make things fun. As veteran cruisers, we had it all covered. Really, what could possibly go wrong? I remember how often we remarked on how charmed this cruise felt. Not a single glitch. I was even up several hundred dollars in the casino! Trust me-this is highly unusual! So as the kids and I began our last day with breakfast, a rock-climb and bingo (leaving my ‘then-husband’ sleeping in the stateroom), absolutely nothing seemed amiss. That is, until lunchtime…
