Understanding The Law Of Attraction: “You Don’t Attract What You Want, You Attract What You Are.”

gratitudeAlanna Ketler – A few weeks ago, I was watching a documentary called, “The Shift, Ambition To Meaning,” featuring beloved author and spiritual teacher, Dr. Wayne Dyer. In this film, a question is raised about the law of attraction, and how that actually works. Dr. Dyer responded with a very simple statement, that was, “You don’t attract what you want, you attract what you are.” This stuck with me and has been serving me ever since.

When I envisioned all of the things that I want in life, and then compare those to where I am at now, how I was acting, and what I was doing on a daily basis it seemed perfectly clear as to why things had not been working out the way I imagined. You have to literally be what you want to become. After hearing this quote from Dr. Dyer, it was like a light bulb went off in my head and I realized that in order to achieve what I know in my heart I want for myself, I must be that, and live that truth whenever possible. The Shift And The Hundredth Monkey Effect

“When enough people have gone through their personal version of The Shift to the new consciousness, then a critical mass will form and suddenly everyone will become aware of the New Reality and its heart-centered values.” O K Waters

OwenKWatersThe Shift is the awakening of humanity’s heart. This transformation of consciousness, the greatest one ever recorded, first became apparent in the mid-1960s and has been building momentum ever since.

The Shift is a collective transformation consisting of the sum of each individual’s step into the New Reality. Each person, in their own time, is moving forward into a stage of consciousness which brings a wider vista and an awareness which springs from the heart. When enough people’s primary attention becomes focused through their heart chakras, then the hundredth monkey effect will occur.

The Hundredth Monkey Effect was first introduced by biologist Lyall Watson in his 1980 book, Lifetide. He reported that Japanese primatologists, who were studying Macaques monkeys in the wild in the 1950s, had stumbled upon a surprising phenomenon.

His book was soon followed up with a deeply inspired work by Ken Keyes in 1981, called The Hundredth Monkey Effect. In this, Ken Keyes made an impassioned appeal for an end to the Cold War and its policy of mutually assured destruction. Here, in the words of Ken Keyes, is a description of the key elements of the Hundredth Monkey Effect:

“The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years.

Hold On To Love

One World Rising | January 21 2012

FearThe last few days have been very intense days for many people from what I am hearing. We were smacked hard by yet another solar wave and I truly believe each wave that arrives brings with it information and lesson learning. I also am starting to believe we are not waiting for the shift to come as much as it is already a part of us and we are just trying to adjust and learn a new way of being in the world.

We are the shift and it is well underway.

I am finding my thoughts change now in the blink of an eye and the lesson I believe I am being taught is to not try to hold on to the old thought but rather go with the new one, knowing my decision is a correct one. How can any of us really know for sure? We are all going where no man has gone before. All we can do is try to understand the situation from our hearts and not our 3D minds for that does not work any longer.

We are truly in the process of creating a new world. Right here. Right now. The important thing for all of us to remember at this time is we must go with what feels right and believe in that decision. I believe our gut intuitions are really just our higher all-knowing selves speaking to us and it is important to listen to that.
