Now That Obama Ceded Control of the Internet, Here’s What It Means

internetJeremiah Johnson – As you may or may not know, as of midnight, October 1, 2016, the U.S. control over the Internet was handed over to ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.  Congressmen wrote letters, experts petitioned their protests, and four states lodged a complaint in a U.S. District Court in Galveston, TX.  Guess what?  Nothing worked, and in the latter, the District Court judge was an Obama appointee who denied any delay in the transfer of the Internet into foreign hands on September 30, 2016.  Foreign nations, such as Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran, and Cuba, to name a few, are now in control of the Internet and its functions.

This is very bad.

Already there are effects being felt.  There have been many comments on many different websites about the slowness of the Internet, coupled with the inability to log onto sites, especially those of the independent news media.  Personally I have experienced such, in the form of not being able to enter Alex Jones, Dave Hodges, or SHTFplan’s websites, the latter of which I write for.  Responses I have received on the screen vary from “Yahoo is unable to connect with this website,” or “Malfunction in connecting to this website,” or “This website is temporarily unavailable.”  Sometimes the page comes up and a message “[Whatever website] not responding,” and nothing can be accessed from the site.

This U.N. Official Accidentally Crushed His Own Throat Right Before He Was Set To Testify Against Hillary Clinton

Mac Slavo – Call it conspiracy theory, coincidence or just bad luck, but any time someone is in a position to bring down Hillary Clinton by testifying they wind up dead. In fact, there’s a long history of Clinton-related body counts, with scores of people dying under mysterious circumstances.

Perhaps the most notable is Vince Foster. Foster was a partner at Clinton’s law firm and knew the inner workings of the Clinton Machine.  Police ruled that death a suicide, though it is often noted that Foster may have been suicided.

Now, another official has found himself on the wrong end of the Clintons. That John Ashe was a former President of the United Nations General Assembly highlights the fact that no one is safe once in their sights.

And as you might have guessed, there are major inconsistencies with Ashe’s death. It was not only conveniently timed because Ashe died just a few days before being set to testify against Clinton in a corruption case, but official reports indicated he died of a heart attack.

The problem, however, is that police on the scene reported Ashe died when his throat was crushed during a work-out accident.

The New York Post’s Page Six reported that after Ashe was found dead Wednesday, the U.N. claimed that he had died from a heart attack. Local police officers in Dobbs Ferry, New York, later disputed that claim, saying instead that he died from a workout accident that crushed his throat.

Freeing Julian Assange: The Last Chapter

John Pilger – February 04, 2016 “Information Clearing House” – Assange is now closer to justice and vindication, and perhaps freedom, than at any time since he was arrested.

One of the epic miscarriages of justice of our time is unravelling. The United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention  – an international tribunal that adjudicates and decides whether governments comply with their human rights obligations –  has ruled that Julian Assange has been detained unlawfully by Britain and Sweden.

After five years of fighting to clear his name – having been smeared relentlessly yet charged with no crime – Assange is closer to justice and vindication, and perhaps freedom, than at any time since he was arrested and held in London under a European Extradition Warrant, itself now discredited by Parliament.

The U.N. Working Group bases its judgements on the European Convention on Human Rights and three other treaties that are binding on all its signatories. Both Britain and Sweden participated in the 16-month long U.N. investigation and submitted evidence and defended their position before the tribunal. It would fly contemptuously in the face of international law if they did not comply with the judgement and allow Assange to leave the refuge granted him by the Ecuadorean government in its London embassy.

Previous celebrated cases ruled upon by the Working Group include: Aung Sang Suu Kyi in Burma, imprisoned opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim in Malaysia, detained Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian in Iran, for which both Britain and Sweden have given support to the tribunal. The difference now is that Assange’s persecution and confinement endures in the heart of London. Continue reading →

UN Agenda 2030: A Recipe for Global Socialism

2030Alex Newman – The United Nations and its mostly autocratic member regimes have big plans for your life, your children, your country, and your world. And those plans are not limited to the coercive “climate” agreement recently concluded in Paris.

While the establishment media in the United States was hyping ISIS, football, and of course “global warming,” virtually every national government/dictatorship on the planet met at the 70th annual General Assembly at UN headquarters in New York to adopt a draconian 15-year master plan for the planet. Top globalists such as former NATO chief Javier Solana, a socialist, are celebrating the plan, which the summit unanimously “approved,” as the next “Great Leap Forward” — yes, the old campaign slogan of the Chinese Communist Party.

The master plan is comprised of 17 “Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) with 169 specific “targets” to be foisted on all of humanity — literally all of it, as the plan itself states explicitly. “As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind,” reads the UN manifesto, entitled Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. But if you love liberty, self-government, free markets, or the U.S. Constitution, you will almost certainly be wishing that the UN would leave you behind.

Officially dubbed “Agenda 2030,” the UN plot, as its full title suggests, is aimed at “transforming” the world. The program is a follow-up to the last 15-year UN plan, the defunct “Millennium Development Goals,” or MDGs. It also dovetails nicely with the deeply controversial UN Agenda 21, even including much of the same rhetoric and agenda. But the combined Agenda 2030 goals for achieving what is euphemistically called “sustainable development” represent previous UN plans on steroids — deeper, more radical, more draconian, and more expensive.

“This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity,” reads the preamble. “All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan.” Ironically, the preamble even claims the UN goals will “free the human race from the tyranny of poverty” and “heal” the planet — or, as the planet is also referred to in the document, “Mother Earth.” Not-so-subtly purporting to usurp the role of God, the UN even claimed that the “future of humanity and of our planet lies in our hands.” Continue reading →

A Tale of Two Leaders: Obama vs. Putin at the UNGA

putinMakia Freeman – Watching Obama and Putin at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was a very interesting glimpse into the world of geopolitics and diplomacy. It was a tale of two leaders, or rather a misleader and a leader. Obama delivered the same old hollow rhetoric of “democracy and peace” we’ve come to expect from the US Teleprompter-in-Chief, while Putin was amazingly upfront and honest, though couching his words in diplomatic speech so as to avoid being too confrontational. Putin managed to avoid using the terms “United States” or “America” all the while directing strong admonitions towards the USA, and even asking at one point: “Do you realize what you have done?”

Obama – More Gross Hypocrisy

Obama’s speech praised “cooperation instead of conflict“, a new world system which prevents “bigger countries from imposing its will on smaller countries” and decried those who believe that “might is right“, that “order must be imposed by force” and that “individual rights don’t matter“. As usual, the gross hypocrisy of his speech was starkly evident right from the start. Obama is a fine orator and his words always sound so nice, but it is rare indeed to find his actions matching up to his words. Continue reading →
