Roger Stone: The Witch Hunt Continues

Roger StoneRoger Stone – One of Stone’s Rules is “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” Even I may have taken exception to that rule last Friday.

If you followed the news last Friday, you know that my longtime friend Kristin Davis testified before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury, that my longtime associate and wingman Andrew Miller was held in contempt for his refusal to testify for the grand jury, and that a subpoena was dropped on Randy Credico who, despite his public denials, was the source who first told me that Wikileaks had the goods on Hillary and would release them in October. It was a Deep State Trifecta!

Andrew Miller’s contempt citation is a bit more complicated and his appeal may be problematic for Mueller down the road.

Mueller is running a criminally abusive, constitutionally unaccountable, professionally and politically incestuous conspiracy of ethically conflicted cronies colluding to violate my Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights and those of almost everyone who had any sort of political or personal association with me in the last 10 years. Trump Clears Path For Assange To Leave London

Jerome Corsi – In the past few days, a series of unexpected developments have cleared the path for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London without fear of arrest.

On Tuesday, WikiLeaks posted a tweet announcing the U.S. government had ended its eight-year-long grand jury proceedings against WikiLeaks that was expanded in 2017 to cover the WikiLeaks various “Vault” releases on CIA spy technology.

The WikiLeaks tweet referenced a State Department press conference held that day, Jan. 2, 2018, in which State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert made a strong statement regarding freedom of speech that was couched in a reference to Iran. Continue reading

Cassandra Fairbanks – President Donald Trump’s attorneys made a solid case for preemptively pardoning Julian Assange in a motion to dismiss a WikiLeaks-related lawsuit against the Trump campaign.

While preemptive pardons are rare — they are not unheard of.

The motion, filed on December 29, was in response to a lawsuit by two Democratic Party donors who allege that the Trump campaign and former adviser Roger Stone conspired with Russians to publish the leaked Democratic National Committee emails. The outlandish lawsuit, based largely on conspiracy theories, was orchestrated by a group called Protect Democracy — which happens to be run by former attorneys from the Obama administration.

In defense of the Trump campaign, the 32-page filing by Michael A. Carvin argues that the publishing of the DNC leak passes both aspects of the Bartnicki First Amendment Test. Continue reading

Wasserman Schultz In Hot Seat After Confession Most Wikileaks Emails Sent AFTER DNC Realized They Were Being Hacked

DNCJoshua Caplan – In yet another head-scratching move, a new report says Democrat operatives sent thousands of emails, many of which were published by WikiLeaks at a later date, despite knowing the DNC was under cyber attack from alleged ‘Russian hackers.’

Daily Caller reports:

DNC CEO Amy Dacey learned of the breach in late April, but of the 27,500 DNC emails published by Wikileaks, fewer than 7,000 pre-date April 29. A Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of the published emails shows that the majority were written between May 5 and May 25 — after cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike was brought in to respond. Seth Rich Now Proven To Have Been Wikileaks Source

hershRusty – Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh claims that Seth Rich reached out to Wikileaks and set up a DropBox account with “an extensive sample” of DNC emails that they were later able to access.

Rich was a DNC staffer who was later murdered during what police claim was a botched robbery.

A lawsuit filed by Rod Wheeler, private investigator for the Rich family, contains a tidbit provided by GOP financier Ed Butowsky, in which he claims Hersh told him of a ‘purported FBI report establishing that Seth Rich sent emails to WikiLeaks.’

In leaked audio of a phone call between the journalist and Butowsky, Hersh’s own words confirm that the report exists.
