Brennan, Beware! Barr Is Closing In On You

BrennanAmerican People Daily – The dirty work being done behind closed doors in order to take down Trump is starting to catch up to the various Democrats who are trying to wash their hands of the blood. In April, William Barr testified before Congress to say that he believes that the Trump campaign was being spied on by political opponents.

Barr has made it clear that he’s looking into what happened during the 2016 presidential campaign – and more specifically, the counterintelligence investigation that was happening against Trump.

James Clapper, a man who lied to Congress about spying on Americans, is already getting nervous about what Barr is investigating. Barr is also looking into John Brennan, the former CIA director. Both of these individuals were likely responsible for an attempted coup against President Trump. Continue reading

Tragedy Tomorrow, Comedy Tonight

BarrClarice Feldman – That’s the title of a great song in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and that, it occurs to me, is an appropriate song for the media and the Democrats. For two years they vigorously promoted — for their amusement and political benefit — a fake Russian collusion story and now must watch it unravel and boomerang on them, their allies and the miscreants who created it. They had their fun, and the denouement has begun.

This Week’s Hearings

There were two hearings on the Mueller report this week, one before the Senate Judiciary Committee and another before the House Judiciary Committee. The Senate hearings were marked by such silly questions and vituperative charges, often by senators who are seeking the party’s nomination and want publicity, that I was tempted to simply repeat some of them for laughs. Other developments, which I will explain, preempted that plan, but I cannot resist this exchange between the fabulist Senator Richard Blumenthal, who faked his war record, and the attorney general: Continue reading

Barr Is The Man For The Job. It Scares The Heck Out Of Those He’s Investigating.

BarrSara Carter – Department of Justice Attorney General William Barr is the perfect man for the job. He is methodical, attentive, calm and rides the storm of chaos with the demeanor of a man who knows he is standing on the side of truth.

It is evident that former senior Obama administration officials and opponents of President Trump know that and fear it. It began last night with the ‘non-story’ that Special Counsel Robert Mueller prosecutors weren’t happy with Barr’s four page letter explaining their report on the Russia investigation.

“We did not understand exactly why the special counsel was not reaching a decision,” Barr told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“We don’t conduct criminal investigations just to collect information and put it out to the public. We do so to make a decision,” Barr told lawmakers. He suggested that Mueller should have come to a decision but avoided the criticism of Democrats by passing the ball to him with regard to obstruction. Continue reading

AG William Barr’s written testimony before Senate Judiciary Committee

attorney generalAttorney General William Barr – Good morning, Chairman Graham, Ranking Member Feinstein, and Members of the Committee.

Thank you for the opportunity to appear today to discuss the conclusion of the investigation into Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III, and the confidential report he submitted to me, which I recently released to the public after applying necessary redactions.

When I appeared before this Committee just a few months ago for my confirmation hearing, Senators asked for two commitments concerning the Special Counsel’s investigation: first, that I would allow the Special Counsel to finish his investigation without interference; and second, that I would release his report to Congress and to the American public.
