What We as a World Value

Steve Beckow – There was a time when everything seemed so difficult to me and I didn’t know how I’d find the way forward.

How was I to explain a world that works for everyone to normal folks?

And then in March 13, 2015, it suddenly became simple.

On that day, my heart opened and I experienced a tsunami of love that swept all my worries and troubles away.

Anyone, anyone in that flood of lovelight would not have a harmful, mean, negative thought. That wave of love would utterly change everything and make everything work – including … the world.

I remember the moment when it hit me. I said to myself, is this what they’re all talking about?

YES! Yes, yes, yes!

Well, today another knotty problem just unraveled itself and revealed itself as simple.

Here I am, a former refugee decision-maker, supposedly schooled in human rights (decades ago now). When I contemplate my contribution, it comes up as being in human rights and particularly in values.

In values? What do I know about values? I’ve left behind what most people value. My furniture is not even Ikea. Five days after buying the TR-4 of my dreams, I’ll tire of it.  I’m losing my taste for a lot of foods, which was about all there was left.

Ahhh, but I do know love. I do know peace. I do know innocence and purity, bliss and ecstasy.

Values? These are my values. I value love and bliss.  I value peace and ecstasy. It’s so simple.

I value the divine states and virtues.  The virtues are things like courage, integrity, reliability, etc.

The Mother called this the foundation on which to build Nova Earth:

Divine Mother: What is the new foundation upon which Nova Earth is built?

It is the 13 Blessings and Virtues [the divine qualities and virtues] that we gifted you so long ago. This is the core of everything you will value and bring forth in the new reality. This is the foundation of what you create and co-create with us. (1)

Some time ago, I asked myself what a cultural universal would look like. I now see that our spiritual universals are also our cultural universals. They’re the divine qualities such as love, peace, bliss, etc., and the divine virtues such as courage, patience, compassion, etc.

Yes, we all smile and we all cry. But I think, if we had a way of measuring what the global population universally agreed on as being valuable, the answer would be things like love, understanding, compassion and other universal and divine qualities. (2)

Let these be enshrined in our next version of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as what we as a world value. (3)

(3) I think it’s time that our human rights were expanded from being simple lists of what we shall not do to include what we truly value and wish to nourish and support. I believe we’ll find that these turn out to be the divine qualities and virtues.
