While some welcome and are contempt with all emotions that spiral in life, some choose to reject certain feelings and this can lead to problems for various reasons.

Negative emotions are most frequently buried deep inside and people deny themselves the much needed release which would help them overcome them. Whether you’ve discovered that you have blood in stool or that your kid is about to flunk a grade, negative emotions are building up and clinging onto your state of mind. Negative emotions that aren’t released risk hurting us even more in the long run. But what can be done about it?

Sport is a very healthy lifestyle choice overall, but the physical effort will help you push out any kind of negativity by using it as fuel for your workout. Take up writing

Writing is a powerful tool for transforming emotions and feelings. Whether you like to convey your emotions into short stories, poetry or even a song, writing will help you put whatever is bothering you down on paper. The beautiful thing about it is that you might also end up with a great piece of written art as a result of banishing your inner struggle. Scream in a pillow

It might sound childish but screaming is an excellent stress reliever. You are literally pouring out all the negative emotions built up over time. Using a pillow will keep the neighbors from calling the police or waking up your family. It’s a physical action with a very powerful psychological effect that can help you get past some really unpleasant moments.

Break stuff

This one is more expensive than the other solutions, but the physical act of breaking plates can eliminate negative feelings efficiently. Make sure you aren’t injuring yourself or someone nearby, and also that you have some plates left to serve food on.
