Renewed Right – The truth about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago continues to trickle out.
These new facts do not make the FBI or the Biden administration look good.
And an insider revealed that the FBI was really after this smoking gun during the Trump raid.
Lee Smith is the author of the book, The Plot Against the President: The True Story of How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History.
On Monday, Smith appeared on Breitbart’s Sirius XM radio show and told host Alex Marlow that individuals with insight into the FBI that he trusts told him what the Bureau was really after in raiding Trump’s estate, were documents from the Russian collusion hoax investigation that would have made them look bad.
“I think the best way to understand this is in the context of a six-year-long operation targeting Donald Trump, Donald Trump’s aides, and Donald Trump’s supporters,” Smith explained. “I have different colleagues and people whose insight and whose wisdom I trust very much, and they believe that what the FBI was looking for were documents related to … what the FBI called the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, but what most most of the rest of us know as the Russiagate operation meant to target candidate Trump, then President-elect Trump, and then President Donald J. Trump.”
The media made a big deal about the affidavit showing the FBI claimed Trump had documents revealing the identity of confidential human sources.
Smith’s reporting suggests those documents were ones that included the names of the spies the FBI deployed during the 2016 election to try and infiltrate the Trump campaign.
Smith also told Marlow that the avalanche of whistleblowers stepping forward to allege political bias against Trump at the FBI will help further expose the truth about the Bureau’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
“Thanks to the whistleblowers — and to thanks to Charles Grassley’s letters — now we have anti-Trump operatives at the DOJ and the FBI worried about who they can trust. Under our circumstances at present, that’s very important, and it’s very good news, because we want them looking at each other. We want them to be fearful of each other. We want them to be suspicious,” Smith said.
Smith said it was vital that the public learn the entire truth about this episode because if the FBI continues to act as the Democrat Party’s personal goon squad, then America is no longer a Constitutional republic.
“These are regime conditions,” Smith continued. “It’s not a Constitutional order. In a Constitutional order, corrupt federal law enforcement officers would be charged, tried, and if found guilty, convicted. But we don’t live under those circumstances, right now. It’s a different time for Americans. It’s a sad and tragic time, but we have to make do with what we have, because we’re Americans.”
