FOX Staffers Following Tucker Carlson Out The Door

FOX Staffers Following Tucker Carlson Out The DoorDo you think folks running Fox News have ever read the fable about the goose that lays golden eggs? Probably not. The backlash against what was once the dominant cable news channel continues to grow, ever since they made the stupidest decision in the history of television itself by firing Tucker Carlson.

Not only is Fox still bleeding viewers and now consistently trailing MSNBC in the ratings, but conservative guests are now too embarrassed to be on any of the shows. Plus, staffers are quitting to go work for Tucker on Twitter!

Fox News lost close to a billion dollars in market cap when it took Tucker off the air in April. That’s not as bad as Bud Light’s self-immolation after trying to trannie up its brand, but it’s still really bad. Imagine having to explain that move to your shareholders.

The big exodus started to get under way last week, when a Fox News producer called Joe Biden a “Wannabe Dictator” on a chyron graphic. That happened on the day when Joe Biden, who is in fact a wannabe dictator, had Donald Trump arrested.

Anyone who says that the White House was not involved in that selective prosecution over a non-crime is lying, by the way. If Joe Biden were not a wannabe dictator, he could end the prosecution and persecution of Donald Trump today. But that’s not how Joe the wannabe dictator rolls.

Anyway, that brief chyron graphic on Fox caused another freakout. The producer who made that graphic, a man named Alexander McCaskill, ended up packing his stuff in a box and walking out the door. He wasn’t the last.

According to Tucker’s biographer, Chadwick Moore, at least 9 staffers have bailed on Fox News to go work for Tucker’s new blockbuster show on Twitter. Moore says all 9 of them approached Tucker and asked how they could help, because they were so done with the Fox News BS.

If anyone tries to start a rumor that Tucker is poaching Fox News staffers, it’s simply not true. They went to him and asked if they could come on board the new venture.

Moore, who used to be a semi-regular guest on Tucker’s show and who is writing Tucker’s biography, says he’s been effectively blacklisted by the channel. He tweeted, “Many familiar faces from Tucker Carlson Tonight are refusing to appear on Fox News since Tucker was bizarrely pulled off the air—and not just the ones who got blacklisted for writing a book about him!”

A senior editorial producer named Thomas Fox and the executive producer of Tucker Carlson Originals, a guy named Charles Cougar, have also bailed on the cruddy and pointlessly redundant Fox News channel.

The mask is off now. Without Tucker Carlson, Fox News is just another MSNBC or CNN. Expect the weird sex scandals to start being revealed at Fox any day now.

Chadwick Moore is correct that a lot of Tucker’s regular guests are now too embarrassed to come on the network. Attorney Harmeet Dhillon, who unsuccessfully ran to become chair of the RNC earlier this year, says she’s done with the fools.

She tweeted, “For all the friends who have been asking ‘Why don’t we see you on Fox anymore?’ — This is why. I am passionately committed to free speech and a free flow of information necessary for a free society. Until Fox stops trying to silence Tucker, it’s not a place for me.”

She’s also encouraging other conservative guests to just let Fox News wither and die. Matt Walsh, another popular figure who was a regular on Tucker’s show, remarked, “The death knell for Fox is when it becomes actively embarrassing for conservative pundits to appear on the network. I think we are rapidly approaching that point. We may have already arrived.”

Oh, we’ve arrived. The writing is on the wall. Keep in mind that commentators like Dhillon and Walsh often get paid to appear on network news shows. They’re willing to lose money to take a stand with Tucker.

Anyone who continues to be a regular guest on Fox News will now be identified as a liar and a shill and an enemy of the people. Meanwhile, if Tucker has already hired 9 former Fox staffers for his new project, it’s only going to continue getting bigger and better from this point. That’s some good news.
