Even critics of the former President can’t deny his success.
And Joe Rogan pointed out one fact about Donald Trump that left Democrats boiling mad.
Comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan has a complicated relationship with former President Donald Trump.
He’s refused to book him as a guest on his top-rated podcast and has been critical of the former President in the past.
But Rogan is beginning to sing a different tune about Trump in recent months.
During a recent podcast with guest Patrick Bet-David, the former Fear Factor host said that none of Trump’s challengers could beat him in the Primary because of his success in the White House and his loyal base.
“No one is going to run against Trump on the Republican side and win because you are not going to get the Trump supporters,” Rogan said. “The fact that he was the President for four years, and the country was in a great economic situation, and it looked like his policies were actually effective.”
Rogan, a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) 2020 Presidential campaign, shocked everyone by reading off a laundry list of Trump’s accomplishments as President.
“Unemployment was down,” Rogan remarked. “Business was booming. Regulations were being relaxed. More things were getting done. When you look at it from a policy perspective, what he did on paper was effective.”
Rogan pointed out that even Democrats have come around to agreeing with some of Trump’s biggest policy positions.
“Everybody thinks there needs to be a wall,” Rogan continued. “Even the mayor of New York City is now calling to stop immigration into his city.”
Democrat-controlled cities and states besieged by illegal aliens have called on the federal government to take action to solve the border crisis.
He noted that Trump faced a “coordinated campaign” from the Deep State to stop his Presidency.
“When you look at the Russia collusion,” Rogan said. “When you look at the Steele dossier. When you look at all the bullst, they tried to throw at him that we now know is bullst. Not just bullst, but coordinated bullst.”
Trump faced unprecedented interference from intelligence agencies during the 2020 Presidential Election to cover up the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“When you look at the fact that they suppressed this Hunter Biden laptop story,” Rogan added. “And 51 intelligence agency representatives signed off on that to say that this is Russian disinformation, which we know they know is not true. That’s scary because now you have the intelligence agencies colluding to keep a guy from being President, who was president during a time when the country was thriving economically.”
Rogan admitted earlier this year that he would vote for Trump over Biden in a 2024 rematch.
