Today, wise owls practice the art of moving out of the way as powerful waves of energy sweep through the field of consciousness. There is no need to bear a hard impact of this because the purpose of the energetics are to clear away the past. So it really isn’t designed for us, per se, it is designed to clear the past out of our way.
This is happening today due to multiple astrological events:
Jupiter stations direct – Jupiter appears to move forward in the sky once again after a jaunt through the past since early December. When a planet stations direct, like Jupiter is doing today, it is similar to a slingshot being released. Jupiter is the Planet of Expansion and it’s energy is vast. When it stations direct, it energetically “pummels” the field with a complete blast. One of the ways this is reflected in life is through things getting blown far out of proportion. Aim to keep things in balance today. It is always a little crazy when a planet stations retrograde or direct.
Jupiter is stationing direct and moving toward 13 Leo and the Sabian symbol of “an old sea captain rocking on the porch of his cottage.” At the same time today, the Mahavidya (Wisdom Goddess) Kali is spinning the patterns of time in preparation for a new beginning with the New Moon on April 18th. We feel “the spin” on the “porch of our cottage,” but luckily we are in a rocking chair, so it’s is easier to ride it out and keep our “sea legs” grounded.
Mercury conjunct Uranus – Mercury meets up with Uranus in the sky today, bringing messages and information that are important to our destiny. There is a “swift” element to this combination of energies, making things happen very fast. Communications and travel are impacted, so give yourself extra time and remain attentive while traveling (especially driving). It’s harder to do with this conjunction, but think before speaking. This year, Mercury and Uranus are joining together to facilitate breaking away from the past. It is more like a wildfire burning away what needs to go.
It’s natural to push, struggle, or strain today because all three fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) are heavily activated. We want to clue in to when this starts to happen and redirect the energy. Stop, take a deep breath, and relax your body. Returning ourselves to equilibrium enables the field around us to reset. We lighten up and move out of the way.
Today is an amazing day to be alive. We are witnessing Renaissance spinning its way into the field of consciousness. It comes from the purging of the past through a great cosmic fire today, and we will step aside.
