Musk drops hammer on NYC protesters

Elon Musk drops hammer on NYC protesters blocking subway tracksTim Tillison – ‘Chief Twit’ Elon Musk offered a succinct, spot-on response to a group of left-wing protesters in New York City who were blocking subway tracks over the weekend in a call for “justice” following the death of a violent, mentally unstable vagrant who had reportedly been terrorizing straphangers for at least a decade.

A group of mostly white protesters who would not have spit on Jordan Neely if he was on fire when he was alive pounced on his death to drive racial discord. Neely was restrained in a choke hold by a former U.S. Marine and a couple of other passengers after he reportedly began acting aggressively on a subway car — yet again. The often-homeless man had been arrested 44 times for charges such as assault and disorderly conduct.

Responding to a tweet featuring footage of the protesters in the tracks, Musk offered the perfect context, “Why didn’t they protest when the children were murdered at the Christian school? They are disingenuous.”

The children Musk referred to in the tweet are the three 9-year-old students who were killed along with 3 adults in April by a transgender shooter at The Covenant School in Nashville.

Video footage of a frustrated black man trying to go to work via the subway being confronted by white, liberal females protesting racism summed up the hypocrisy to which Musk was calling attention.

In truth, the protest in NYC is not about “justice” for a mentally disturbed man who was failed repeatedly by New York City. It’s about using his death to push race-based identity politics, with the media trying to prop Neely up as the next George Floyd. At one point in his life, Neely performed as a Michael Jackson impersonator for tips, though it appears he stopped some time ago. Yet, the media ran with the narrative and featured video from a decade ago of Neely entertaining straphangers.

Social media users seem to be on to the hustle… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
