Nancy Pelosi Loses It! Throws Temper Tantrum As Radical Dem Agenda Poised For Failure.

Ryan Kim – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lost her mind on everyone standing in the way of the Democrats’ radical voting change – going as far as to claim that opponents of the legislation and a change to filibuster rules are “dishonoring” the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and making our deceased forefathers and leaders like MLK and President Abraham Lincoln have “tears in their eyes,” unless the bills are passed.

The delusional Pelosi went after the GOP and moderate Democrats who are stopping the Democrats’ extreme plans from becoming a reality.

“Nothing less is at stake than our Democracy. This is about suppressing the vote, it’s about nullifying the election,” Pelosi said Monday at an event at Washington’s Union Station. “It’s about just doing so many things that are obstacles to participation. That’s wrong. The truth is, that’s wrong.”

“If you really, truly want to honor Dr. King, don’t dishonor him by using a congressional custom as an excuse for protecting our democracy,” the House Speaker continued, referring to Senate Democrats Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema who both oppose eliminating the legislative filibuster rules.

“We all want bipartisanship,” Pelosi claimed laughably. “We all strive for it [and] we have a responsibility to do so. But when we cannot have it, we cannot confine our democracy to what might be bipartisanly possible.”

“So I ask our colleagues in the Senate respectfully for what they think the filibuster means … to weigh the equities against our democracy,” she continued. “Because nothing less is at stake than our democracy.”

Pelosi’s speech continued, suggesting that anyone who is somehow standing in the way of the far-left voting legislation is making MLK, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson cry.

“[Martin Luther King Jr.,]…Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson — all of them with tears in their eyes for the departure from our democracy that is happening right now, unless the truth is acknowledged and this legislation is passed,” she said.

Pelosi’s freakout comes after Sen. Sinema announced on Thursday of last week that she would not support making any changes to the filibuster, essentially sinking radical voting bills like “The John Lewis Voting Rights Act” and the “Freedom to Vote Act.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, meanwhile, is forcing votes on Democrats’ election reform proposals and the Senate filibuster this week in a move to draw a line between the two parties on voting rights – while also shining a light on just how divided the Democratic party is right now.

“We will be postponing recess so the Senate can vote on voting rights. We will return on Tuesday to take up the House-passed message containing voting rights legislation,” Schumer said Friday. “Members of this chamber were elected to debate and to vote, particularly on an issue as vital to the beating heart of our democracy as this one. And we will proceed.”

“And if Senate Republicans choose obstruction over protecting the sacred right to vote — as we expect them to — the Senate will consider and vote on changing the Senate rules — as has been done many times before — to allow for passage of voting rights legislation,” Schumer added.
