Sean Adl-Tabatabai – A top Iranian official says the country should never have signed the Obama-era nuclear deal that has now been renounced by President Trump.
In a rare interview with Lester Holt, Ali Shamkhani, a close adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, said there were people in Iran who felt that signing the 2015 nuclear pact, known as the JCPOA, was a big mistake.
