We are located up in the Sierra Madre Canyon nestled in the San Gabriel mountain range with all kinds of animals, bears, mountain lions, hawks, snakes, raccoons, etc, you name it – and I still cannot believe what happened yesterday morning.

I leave the front door open at times because it creates a nice cool breeze throughout the house.  So I’m on the computer in the studio in the back of the house and I hear a noise in the kitchen and turn around to see a pretty good size brown bear in the kitchen, with his paws up on the counter, scrounging around looking for something to eat.
