Critical Race Theory And ‘Reparations Math’ Now Fused In School Curriculum

Critical Race Theory And ‘Reparations Math’ Now Fused In School CurriculumCarole Hornsby Haynes – A recently released school curriculum by the 1619 Project education network will teach thousands of high school students that they are victims of slavery that ended in 1865 under the 13th Amendment — more than 150 years ago. The new radical “Reparations Math and Reparations History” curriculum teaches how slavery “led to a wealth gap for African Americans.”

Using Culturally Responsive Teaching, race-based Marxist propaganda is fused into lessons linked to Common Core Math and Social Studies Standards. Through progressive groupthink Project Based Learning (PBL) over three-four weeks, students will gather information about “the way that the sugar industry, and other industries that grew as a result of slave labor, have led to a wealth gap for African Americans in the U.S.” Continue reading

How to Destroy a People

How to Destroy a PeopleJeffrey Folks – Twenty years ago, I interviewed a young woman for an entry-level position at the prestigious university where I taught.  I had read the candidate’s Ph.D. thesis, with considerable reservations, and was eager to ask about her scholarly interests.  She stated that she followed the approach called “critical theory” and that her interest was limited to whatever was abnormal, perverse, and antagonistic.  She despised everything that was conventional, decent, or good.

As a person who had devoted his entire life to promoting what was conventional, decent, and good, I was taken aback.  Not that I was entirely surprised.  Critical theory, with its antagonistic attitude toward ordinary society, had been gaining ground for decades.  I myself had attended the first National Endowment seminar, at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1988, focusing on critical theory, and I did not like what I heard. Equal Opportunity or Equal Outcome?

Jon Henschen – The financial services industry has evolved on the topic of equality over the last five years. Five years ago, firms were encouraged to bring greater diversity and equality to the workplace.  Over time the message became increasingly urgent and instead of encouraging, industry writers started to guilt firms to speed up the process of back-office employees and advisors hired reflecting greater diversity and equality.  More recently the tone of articles has shifted to shaming firms that haven’t made enough “progress” in equality/diversity advances.

The shaming has been primarily focused to broker/dealers that are small and midsized vs. larger broker/dealers that these anointed ones believe progressed at a fast enough pace to not be shamed.  The largest wirehouse firms like Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley are the most enmeshed in woke dogma and the push for equity.     Continue reading

The ‘Spirit-Murdering’ CRT Agenda

Jeff M. Lewis – It is encouraging to see that at least some of the broader culture’s acceptance of Critical Race Theory (CRT) is waning, but we can be assured the zeal among CRT’s adherents will not wane. Therefore, we must mimic the radical left’s tactics and keep the pressure on, to reveal the whole vacuous pack of lies. Understanding CRT’s effects on people and reading what a rising CRT star—Bettina Love—wants to do to America’s Black students, help expose those lies.

The Democrat party’s radical left is a soul-crushing autocracy. Their ideologies do not empower anyone to pursue happiness or to succeed and are not what America’s youth need to be taught about our country or how to live and thrive in the greatest nation on earth. Leftists everywhere demand allegiance and compliance, and dissent cannot be tolerated, because a close examination of their doctrines exposes them as morally bankrupt and utterly insufficient.
