Key Takeaways from Judge Cannon’s Hearing

Key Takeaways from Judge Cannon's HearingAmerican Liberty Report – The week of March 11th was extremely consequential in terms of the 2024 election, but one very important story that got buried was the hearing that took place in federal court in Florida. Judge Aileen Cannon held a hearing to discuss President Donald Trump’s motions to dismiss the classified documents case against him on the grounds of the vagueness of the Espionage Act and Trump’s protection under the Presidential Records Act.

Judge Cannon denied those motions on Thursday but signaled very strongly that she could dismiss the entire case based on the selective prosecution of Trump.

Independent journalist Julie Kelly was inside the courtroom for the hearing. President Trump also made an appearance in person. Kelly says that the elephant in the room during the entire hearing was Special Counsel Robert Hur’s testimony before Congress earlier this week. Continue reading

Club Of Growth Ads Against Trump Backfire Spectacularly

Club Of Growth Ads Against Trump Backfire SpectacularlyJessica C. – After wasting $6 million to try to get you to abandon your support for Donald Trump in 2024, the Club for Growth is throwing in the towel. David McIntosh, the co-founder of Club for Growth, has admitted to the group’s megadonors that the attacks on Trump only seem to make him stronger.

This is significant, because the Club for Growth has been the main financial backer for Ron DeSantis since at least 2013 and has been steering his career since at least 2015.

The Never Back Down Super PAC is running the mechanics of the DeSantis for President campaign in 2024, but Club for Growth is heavily present on the advising side for the campaign. David McIntosh and Club for Growth are intrinsically connected with Ron DeSantis, and that relationship predates Never Back Down. Continue reading

The Primary is Over

The Primary is OverMatt Kane – The Republican primary race is over. While the first official vote cast for the Republican nominee is still roughly three months away, the smears, mugshots, indictments, and other inevitable political tricks to come against Trump will not prevent him from winning the Republican nomination for president for a third time, and easily.

Trump’s increasing strength signals that voters won’t settle for “just any Republican.” If Republican candidates truly want to ensure Biden (or another Democrat) is denied a chance to continue his carnage, they should drop out immediately and rally behind Trump. While you shouldn’t count on that happening, that doesn’t invalidate the many reasons why this race ended long before it even started. Continue reading

Trump and the Tower of Lies

Trump and the Tower of LiesJ.R. Dunn – We’re truly living in a Philip K. Dick world. A world in which we’re expected to believe, with the strength of conviction, synthetic constructs without a single grain of truth to them while rejecting and reviling obvious straightforward concepts about the world and its workings that have been accepted since the days of the Serengeti.

This is a world in which one of the rarest personality disorders in existence balloons overnight from a few dozen to nearly a million “victims,” victims whose suffering can be alleviated only by unceasing brutality, viciousness, and insult directed at young women. (Note that it is almost always, with the occasional exception of a J.K. Rowling or Camille Paglia, young women who are targeted.) Continue reading
