Steven Richards – The Georgia Court of Appeals announced Wednesday that it will hear former President Donald Trump’s appeal of an upper court judge’s decision to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in her 2020 election case against Trump and co-defendants.

Clarice Feldman – This week, all eyes were on the Willis-Wade fiasco in Fulton County, Georgia, but three less smuttily scintillating cases seem at last to be limiting the overreach of the Department of Justice respecting the J6 defendants and Jack Smith’s persecution of President Donald Trump.
In interpreting criminal statutes, it seems to me that Courts should not be creative and expansively read into them things that the legislature (that writes the laws) did not clearly proscribe as illegal, and it appears that finally, courts higher than the highly partisan D.C. Jack Davis – Two co-defendants in former President Donald Trump’s election interference trial have filed motions seeking to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case.
Willis claimed that Trump masterminded a conspiracy both inside and outside of Georgia during the months he pushed back against the results of the 2020 presidential election. Trump has said his fight against the results broke no laws. Continue reading
