Niamh Harris –  George Orwell must be turning in his grave! Students at a UK university are being warned about ‘explicit material’ found in his famous dystopian novel- 1984 – that describes the dangers of censorship

Published in 1949, Orwell’s story, which is set in a totalitarian state that persecutes individual thinking, gave the world phrases like ‘Big Brother’, ‘Newspeak’ and ‘thought police’.

NY Times Calls for Biden to Launch a ‘Ministry of Truth’

truthNiamh Harris – The New York Times is lobbying the Biden administration to launch a ‘Ministry of Truth’ to censor independent media online.

In an article entitled, ‘How the Biden Administration Can Help Solve Our Reality Crisis’, the NYT’s Kevin Roose cites “experts” who are calling on “the Biden administration put together a cross-agency task force to tackle disinformation and domestic extremism, which would be led by something like a ‘reality czar.’”

The role of the “reality czar” would be to head up “a centralized task force could coordinate a single, strategic response” to information online that goes against the mainstream narrative, including articles deemed to be “conspiracy theories. Continue reading →

Wait a Minute – Who’s Fascist?

fascist Charles Hugh Smith – If you’re an Establishment insider, the mainstream media will give you plenty of column inches and airtime to label Donald Trump a “dangerous” fascist: for example, Democratic insider Robert Reich’s fear-mongering frenzy Donald Trump is a 21st century American fascist, in which Reich conveniently overlooks constitutional limits on any president, “fascist” or not.

In effect, Reich is announcing the Constitution is dead and powerless to limit the President. Well, if that’s the problem, then why not attack the real problem, which is the Imperial Presidency? Why not? Reich served an Imperial President as a loyal lackey, that’s why–and he remains an energetic supporter of the central state and its bread-and-circuses institutionalized serfdom.

If you’re an Establishment insider, you’ll get ample opportunities in the corporate media to label Bernie Sanders a “dangerous” socialist. You don’t even have to be a member of the “vast right-wing conspiracy” (a staple of the Clintons’ attack strategy)–any insider can get airtime to label Sanders as “dangerous”–either because he’s socialist, or because he’s not radical enough. Any attack will do, and you’ll get plenty of opportunity to flesh out any attack, no matter how biased or nonsensical.

It is of course classic Orwellian Doublespeak to label any threat to one’s power “fascist,” and to laud one’s corrupt and venal allies as “freedom fighters,” but the Establishment’s panicked reliance on accusations of fascism is new and yes, dangerous. So let’s step back and ask–precisely who’s the fascist here?

Demonizing Dissent and Public Opinion

Philips – As the Western world powers that be tighten their tyrannical controlling noose on humanity, dissension and public opinion has never been so important: As consistent with the quote from Orwell‘s novel 1984, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

To countermeasure this much-needed dissent and public opinion to raise awareness and free humanity, the powers that be have taken a severe stance on punishing those who have opposing views regardless of truth or untruth to advance an oppressive agenda.

So, in response, during these times of universal deceit and oppression, here are 7 examples of unjustly demonizing dissent and public opinion.

1. Medical Dissension and the AMA’s Gag Orders

To get an even larger slice of the medical monopoly the highly influential AMA (American Medical Association), a wing of the medical/pharmaceutical establishment, has announced plans to put in gag orders designed to control and prevent doctors from speaking out publicly on ‘dubious alternative medical practices.’  Should doctors go outside of the AMA’s guidelines, they could face having their licenses revoked while being unjustly accused of quackery…

This unfairly biased stance will even further hit holistic doctors offering help and advice on track-record proven effective alternative medical practices. Continue reading →
